ODBD Bread Basket

Saturday, April 17, 2010
Happy Saturday!! I hope everyone has had a good beginning to their weekend!! Since it is Saturday, it is time for another Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light Challenge. This week's challenge is to use recycling (you can use something recycled on your creation or use a technique with a recycled item to create your card).

As with all our challenges, we have added more fun to this challenge by having a $15 certificate as a prize (randomly selected) to one challenge participant. Entries must be entered by Thursday night at 8 p.m. for a chance to win. You are not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps but if you have them we would love to see them. If you do create a card or project for this challenge, please use the keyword ODBDSLC10 when uploading to any online galleries and link your creation to Mr. Linky here.

Now on to my creation for this challenge:
For my creation I used a prima flower container I saved. The image I used is from our
Daily Bread Designs Happy Birthday.
The sentiment is from the Mom set at ODBD. I colored my image is with copics.
I framed the image with my scalloped circles and Lattice pendant spellbinders.
The lace is something I have been hoarding which is now gone. Boo hoo!
The white satin ribbon is from May Arts.
There is lace with beads that goes around the
outside of the container.

For more inspiration, please visit my dt sisters:

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you enjoyed today's creation. Thanks for all your visits and comments. I so enjoy reading them.

hugs,
Chris

Hi Chris~

What a beautiful gift to give your mother. She is going to have a fabulous Mother's
Day, I am sure!

I must have 15 small peanut cans, cleaned out and in my art room! I feel some CASE-ing coming on! (If that is ok.)
