Hello Friends!!  I am sorry for being so absent this week.  Life has been crazy busy and unfortunately I move so much slower with my hurt leg and all the pain and my emphasis has to be on ways to generate money to pay for all the medical bills!    I have to say I am so thankful for all the improvements I continue to make...no matter how slow.  God is so Good!!

Yesterday I tried to join the Hope you Can Cling to challenge to support those in need.  So many of us have been influenced by the tragedies of Cancer.  When making this card, I thought of my mother in law and the wonderful friend, mom and testimony she was to me.  I still miss her!!

When I saw the Hope you can Cling to challenge Hope Soars- things that take off, I remembered my favorite thing to do in the summertime while at the campfire is to look for shooting stars so I decided for the WT503  at SC which was favorite things and the HYCTT1430, I would create a Christmas card with shooting stars.

I used stamps, papers, and dies that will be released at Our Daily Bread Designs on Nov. 1 including Snowflake Stars and Shine on as well as the ODBD Sparkling Stars die and the ODBD Christmas Collection 2014 paper. I also used the Spellbinders Bracket Borders 1 and the Ribbon Trio dies.

I am entering this creation in the ODBD Shining the Light challenge: inspired by the verse Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything is a season a time for every purpose under heaven.

Thanks for looking!!  Have a blessed weekend!! I hope to see you tomorrow for the release!!

Hello Friends!! I can't believe October is almost over!!  Where does the time go.

I just wanted to share a card I created with the newest sets from Our Daily Bread Designs.

My card uses the Midnight Clear background and Noel Ornament.  The Noel Ornament is cut out with the Circle Ornament die and matted with the Matting Circles die.

I decided to make a window on my card to see in and see another ornament I created on the inside with the Midnight Clear background.  The embossing folder is Darice Snowflake Swirls.

Here are photos of the sets used from the New Release:

Hello Friends!!

Today I am popping in to share a card I created for the Shining the Light challenge at ODBD as well as one I created for a craft fair...

This week's challenge is to be inspired by the verse:
To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under Heaven.  Ecclesiastes 3:1

I just loved coloring this Holly Wreath and now it has a matching die too!! It looks so elegant on top of the Doily. The sentiment uses the Christmas Pennant Row and the Pennant Row die.   The border at the bottom as well as the bows are created with the Pennant Swag die.

My paper is from a new pad that I recently received called Authentique Believe.

The verse above is one of my favorites although no one wants to go through the seasons of pain and sorrow.  What a comfort to know that in any season, that God is with us!!

I will never leave you nor forsake you. Hebrews 13:5
This verse is written with many meanings, such as being content, practicing hospitality, and keeping pure, this short but powerful promise assures the believer that God is sufficient for all our needs. What a gift!!

I hope you have enjoyed my take on the inspiration.  Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you enjoy my creation!! For more inspiration for this challenge, please visit my dt sisters: Cheryl Scrivens, DJ Rants, Diana Nyugen, Robin Clendenning, Linda Carson, and Elizabeth Whisson.

Hello Friends!! I hope you are all doing well!! It is hard to believe how the time flies and how brisk it has become.  While I love Fall, I fear that winter is just around the corner...reports are saying that they feel it is going to be a very cold and snowy winter.  I am so not ready for that!!!!

Today I am popping in to share this week's Shining the Light challenge at ODBD which is Anything Goes with ODBD stamps.

Here is a card I made using the God's Timing stamp set as well as the coordinating Dies - Ornament Circle dies and Matting Circle dies.  The sentiment uses the Christmas Pennant Swag stamps and the coordinating Pennant Swag dies.  The paper is from the ODBD Christmas Collection 2013

I made this card for my Dad who is celebrating his Birthday this coming weekend and the best thing is I get to give it to him in person!! I am so excited that in two days they are coming for a week!!  I am so blessed!!

Here is today's first to go with my card:
Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth. — Proverbs 27:1

How many of us are anxious about the future or worry about the future.  I sure do!! I am guilty!! Don't you have your hands full with today? Don't you find yourself distracted from the urgent and important things of today when you worry about the problems of tomorrow? Don't you occasionally find yourself missing an opportunity today while fantasizing about all the possibilities down the road? Isn't it a waste of time to be anxious about those things over which you have no influence? So why worry so much about tomorrow, and next week, and...? Let's walk with God today and trust in his faithfulness for us tomorrow.

I know it is easier said then done...some of the questions I often ask are: Will I be back to walking normal eventually after I heal, will I always have such pain?  Will I ever feel the outside of my leg when I feel I have an itch?...Will I be able to pay my Mortgage Payment?  The list goes on....I must trust in God with all my heart!!!
