Good Morning Friends!! I hope this post finds you all well!!  Here in Virginia the weather has been beautiful and it officially feels a lot like spring with temperatures in the 70's and 80's.  We have mowed our lawn a few times.  The tulips are blooming and the leaves are more prominent on the trees.  It is gorgeous and so fresh looking!  There is nothing like the freshness of the emerging grass after winter.  I have been so blessed to have my parents and sister come and visit for the past couple of weeks.  I am so going to miss them!!!

Today I would like to share my newest creation for the Shining the Light Challenge- Spring Has Sprung (Create your own die cut flowers).

Good morning all!! I hope this post finds you all well!!  The weather is becoming warmer here during the day.  The grass is green and our tulips look like they are about to open.  The flowering trees are blossoming.  I just love this time of year!!

Since Spring is now here, this month's challenge at ODBD is Spring has sprung0 create your own flowers with dies.

ODBD Stamps Used: Lovely Flowers
ODBD Dies Used: Lattice BackgroundVintage BordersRoseRose LeavesVintage Flourish PatternLovely LeavesBeautiful Borders, Fancy Fan

I enjoyed creating budding roses using the Rose border die released this past weekend.  The background is created using the Lattice Background Die that is sponged with amethyst.  The frame around the image is created by die cutting the Fancy Fan die and then turning the die upside down, matching the oval on the top with the die and recutting my cardstock creating an ornate oval of sorts.

Today I have two projects to share with you.  The first creation uses the new Lovely Flowers (clear stamps), Fancy Fan die, and Lattice Background Die as well as the Bitty ButterfliesBeautiful BordersVintage Borders,  and Vintage Labels.

The Fancy Fan die is so versatile and need not only be used to create a fan.  In this card, the die is used as a center focus in the layout.  The fan is cut twice and attached with one being adhered upside down to the other die cut which is face up.  I love the elegance of the die!!

My second creation uses the new Lovely Flowers (clear stamps)Fancy Fan die, Rose die, and Rose Leaves.  The images in the Lovely flowers stamp set are so beautiful!! It was so much fun to color them although they are small and dainty.  This fan is secured with a brad at the bottom and can fold up.

Here are the photos of the new stamps and dies used on the creations above.
