ODBD Bread Basket

Saturday, April 1, 2017
Welcome friends!! Today ODBD is releasing more sets of beautiful stamps and dies.  You won't want to miss all the inspiration from the ODBD Breadbasket (ODBD design team).

Three randomly selected winners will each receive a $25 gift certificate to the ODBD Store, to be used toward the purchase of ODBD Stamps found in the "ODBD stamps column" of the website just for commenting on the Design Team cards on their blogs!  You have until April 2, 2017, at 9:00 p.m. EST to leave your comments for a chance to win!  The Winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on April 3rd, so be sure to check back to see if you won!

Today I have two projects to share with you.  The first creation uses the new Lovely Flowers (clear stamps), Fancy Fan die, and Lattice Background Die as well as the Bitty ButterfliesBeautiful BordersVintage Borders,  and Vintage Labels.

The Fancy Fan die is so versatile and need not only be used to create a fan.  In this card, the die is used as a center focus in the layout.  The fan is cut twice and attached with one being adhered upside down to the other die cut which is face up.  I love the elegance of the die!!

My second creation uses the new Lovely Flowers (clear stamps)Fancy Fan die, Rose die, and Rose Leaves.  The images in the Lovely flowers stamp set are so beautiful!! It was so much fun to color them although they are small and dainty.  This fan is secured with a brad at the bottom and can fold up.

Here are the photos of the new stamps and dies used on the creations above.

Oh, Chris! What gorgeous projects today, and I really LOVE the card with the new dies and how YOU continue to delight me with how you use them! Beautifully done and with perfect colors! I love that sweet little flower inside the middle! And what an amazing fan you've made with the beautiful flower ovals. Stunning colors and great design (of course!). So glad to see these stunning projects to showcase the new release! Hugs and love, precious friend! (Starting to get back to a bit of normalcy...eyes are still not focusing as well as I'd like...but time will help.) xoxo

Your card is lovely, but that fan is outstanding! It would make a wonderful piece sitting on a side table or mantle.

Such pretty projects! I especially like your use of the "fan" in your first project. I really like it when dies/stamps/etc., can be used in different ways.
