- Hi! I am Chris, also known as Glowbug on Splitcoaststampers. I live in Appomattox, VA. I so much enjoy blogging and the so many good friendships that have formed as a result. During my free time, I am creating cards or projects and I so enjoy Challenges. I have a very supportive husband, Scott, who understands my addiction and two young daughters,Meghan, 9 and Nicki, 12 years of age, who can't wait to get their hands on my stamps and embellishments. I was an elementary school teacher until my youngest was born. I have now been blessed with the opportunity to teach my two girls at home. I use stamping as a hobby or way to escape.

Happy Monday all!! I hope you have had a great weekend!! Winter was here this weekend with some snow and lots of cold temps. My hubby and I layed low since we have managed to get a nasty head cold. Boy does it knock you out and take away any motivation you may have. Oh well...it was great to not have any responsibilities this weekend.
This week Stamp and Create has a new Product Spotlight. This week's product Spotlight is anything BABY!!! All images that are be baby related will be up to 25% off!!!
For my creation I used ...... the darling Baby of Mine stamp illustrated by Crissy Armstrong for Whimsy Stamps!! I also used the Welcome Baby sentiments and Welcome Baby die set designed by Ann Vento for Whimsy stamps!! Did you know Lacey carries a lot of the Whimsy stamps in her Stamp and Create Store?!!!!!
The designer paper is Prima Botanical and the die used on the bottom of the easel is the Whimsy Shapeology Double Scallop Border die.The ribbon is blue silk from May Arts which I tied with the bow easy. The flowers are a combo of prima's, ZVA Creative flowers and some which were received in a RAK from a dear friend!! I had fun coloring the image with copics and adding some paper piecing as well!!

Happy Tuesday all!! I have been missing making some cutesy cards so I just had to use one today.
This Week Stamp and Create is having a Birthday product spotlight in celebration of Lacey's 40th birthday!! This means all stamps with a Birthday Theme are up to 25% off!!!
I created a birthday card using the darling Meljen's Designs for Whimsy Birthday Cup Mouse image which she colored with copics and the Whimsy Party Mini Letter Seals. The banner was created with the Whimsy Banner dies. The designer paper is My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Breeze and Bo Bunny Snowfall collection.

On Sunday we announced the wonderful news that Whimsy Stamps is exclusively releasing Sylvia Zet's beautiful wee stamps collection in rubber!
Whimsy Stamps is releasing 6 new Wee Stamps for Whimsy Stamps today and these new goodies are available to buy right now from the Whimsy Stamps store along with all your Whimsy favourites.
The Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests have been showcasing these fabulous stamps for the past 3 days, and today we are celebrating their release with a BLOG HOP! We are delighted to welcome our wonderful special guests who are joining the Whimsy DT for this hop - Elaine Hughes, Alberto Gava, Mariska van der Veer, Jacque Beddingfield, Dena Concienne, Tab Robinson and Sylvia Zet herself!
The hop starts today (Wednesday October 5th at noon EST) and ends on Tuesday October 11th at noon EST.
For this hop we have 5 different prize draws! One lucky hopper will win the entire new release of 6 stamps. We also have 4 mini candy stops throughout the hop where you can enter to win a new release stamp! For my blog creation I used .... the adorable Sweet Blossom!! I just love her!! I colored with copics.
I colored her with copics. The designer paper is from Basic Grey Wisteria. The ribbon is dyed seam binding. The pearls are from ZVA Creative. The flowers are a mixture of Prima, Wild Orchids and from a RAK from my dear friend, Sabrina. The yellow panel is dry embossed. The image is framed with Spellbinders Circles and Spellbinders Scalloped Circles.

The image is colored with copics and paper pieced with the Prima Sparkling Spring Paper. The other dp used on the panels is also Sparkling Spring dp from Prima. In addition to Wild Orchid Roses, I also added some white wrinkled ribbon from May Arts, a button, ric rac, gold baubles and used the new Whimsy Shapeology Vine dies. The layout uses the sketch from Papertake Weekly. The border along the top is created with the Spellbinders Parisian Accents. The background paper is dry embossed with Provocraft soft swirls. All panels were sewn with gold metallic thread and glitter was added to the flowers.
I colored her in with copics. The dp is from Bo Bunny Home andPrima Sparkling Spring. The sentiment is Whimsy's Summer Letter Sealsdesigned by our very own Ann Vento of Raindrop Echo Designs. The bow is created with the bow easy and white wrinkled ribbon.

Hello All!! Happy Tuesday!! I hope you are all doing well!! Today I am honored to show yet another sneak peak of the darling digi Wee stamp that is now available as rubber in the Whimsy Store!! These are the cutest images and I had a blast coloring them!
On Sunday, Whimsy Stamps announced that we will now be releasing Sylvia Zet's adorable wee collection exclusively in Whimsy rubber! How exciting!
This month Whimsy Stamps will be releasing six Wee Stamps for Whimsy Stamps rubber stamps on 5 October: Autumn Happiness ~ Rose's Bike Ride ~ Silver Fairy ~ Sweet Blossom ~ Wee Suzi ~ Winter Fairy.
The Whimsy Stamps DT have been sharing some fabulous sneak peeks of these darling stamps in the lead up to their release tomorrow (Wednesday 5 October). We will be holding a fantastic BLOG HOP tomorrow to celebrate the new release, so be sure to join the fun at 12.00PM (EST) as we will be giving away the entire release to one lucky hopper as well as having a few secret prize draws scattered throughout the hop.
