Twinkles Glow with Stamps

Good Morning Friends!! I hope this post finds you all well and that you are enjoying the weather wherever you are.  Summer, here, is winding down.  School begins next week (my time off from work is soon over).

Today I am popping in to share creations made with the new August release from Our Daily Bread Designs (ODBD) available today.  For more inspiration using the new dies and stamps, from my talented dt sisters, see the ODBD blog here.

My first creation uses the new stamp set Get Well Wishes.  I know personally, I am always looking for appropriate sentiments for Get Well cards.  This set has awesome verses and sentiments.

Hello Friends!! I hope all is well with you all!  Today Our Daily Bread Designs celebrates it's 10th Anniversary!!!  In honor of it's anniversary it is having a special Anniversary release of God Quotes and Scripture as well as Decorative Circle Dies!!

Here are a few cards I created using the God Quotes, Fancy Circles and Filigree Circles.

This is my first card created with the gorgeous Romantic Roses Paper Pad, the new God Quotes 2, Fancy Circle dies, Fancy Foliage Dies, Bitty Blossoms dies, Bitty Butterflies dies, Circles dies and Pierced Rectangles.





I have been blessed to be a part of the team for over 9 years (9 1/2 years).  It has been amazing to see how it has grown and to see all the scripture and beautiful stamp sets and dies that are available.  I enjoy creating cards that can inspire or encourage others.  Thanks for this opportunity, Kelley!  Congrats on 10 years.

My dear friend Grace, has been a part of the team for about 9 years.  Today will be the last day she will be a part of the team as she anticipates her upcoming move.  Grace has been a true friend and a real inspiration to me.  Her love for the Lord is evident in all she does.  Her love and talent will be missed on the team.  Love you Grace!!

Today I have two projects to share with you.  The first card I am sharing with you is created using the  new Bon Voyage stamp set, Ferns dies, and Frangipani dies, as well as the previously released Lavish Layers, Ovals, Pierced Rectangles dies, and Boho Bold 6x6 paper pack.

The image is sponged using a circles die and several bright inks to create the sunset.  After die cutting the Frangipani die I traced the embossed sections with copics and wet the flower so I could shape it for a more 3d flower.


 The second card is created using the new released Bon Voyage stamp set, Frangipani dies, and Fern Dies as well as the previously released Doily Dies, Pierced Rectangles dies, Lavish Layers dies, Beautiful Borders dies and the Boho Bold 6x6 Paper Pack.





Again the flowers were colored with copics (pink, light violet and yellow) after it was die cut and then wet so it could be molded.

Hello Friends!! I hope this post finds you all well and that you are enjoying some beautiful spring/summer weather.  Today, as I write this post, it is sunny, warm and not humid!  So gorgeous in Virginia!  Many times we have the humidity so this is d-bomb!!

This month, Kelley released some gorgeous wedding stamps and dies at ODBD!! Since June is the wedding month it is so appropriate.  I know we have a few weddings to attend in the fall.  I have been having fun creating cards for my nieces and nephews.

Today's card is one that I created for this month's Shining the Light challenge at ODBD.  It is a color challenge.  Here are the colors:

Hello Friends!! I hope this post finds you all well!!  It seems like time just keeps on flying by.  It has been busy here which I am sure makes the time fly even faster but just the same it is flying by.  We are already in the 5th month of the year!  How can it be?

Today I am popping in to share a card I created for this month's Shining the Light challenge ODBDSLC286 Just Say Thanks.  It seems like such an appropriate month as we thank our teachers at the end of the year or Thank our mothers on Mother's Day.  A simple thank you goes a long way and brightening up the day of the recipient.

Hello Friends!!  I hope this post finds you all well!  I can't believe it is now May!  Time is flying!!  It appears Virginia is skipping spring right into summer with its very warm temperatures.  It is beautiful, however, with the green grass, budding trees, and growing flowers (daylilies, irises...and etc.).
