Hello friends!!  Today the sun is back!!! Woo hoo!! It has been quite rainy and it is so nice to see sun.  This summer has been so different from most here in VA (at least in my experience or so I have been told).  Usually the grass turns yellow or brown from being so dry...not this summer!!  I am not complaining since the plants and flowers are gorgeous this year!!!

Today I am popping in to share yet another sneak peek of a card i made with stamps to be released at Our Daily Bread Designs on Sunday. What a gorgeous release!! I am just loving all the new dies and stamps!!  I especially  love the new O Little Town of Bethlehem and Little Drummer Boy (sentiment) which I am sharing on today's card.

The stamp was inked up in Night of Navy Craft ink and Embossed with Holographic ink.  It is very sparkly and beautiful in person.  After I completed the background panel, I dry embossed the panel with a Square Lattice embossing folder.  The base of the card is embossed with a Sizzix Snowflakes folder

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Sneak peek of O Little Town of Bethlehem, Drummer Boy from Our Daily Bread Designs
Dies: ODBD Elegant Ovals, Spellbinders Floral Doily Motifs
Accessories: Snowflake Embossing Folder, Holographic Embossing Powder, May Arts Wrinkled Ribbon, pearls, su Square Lattice Embossing Folder

It is hard to believe that September is right around the corner and school has begun.  Summer is coming to an end!!  Since I am not ready for the end, i had to share just one more creative which makes me feel like summer...a bouquet of flowers.

For my creation I used the Blue Ribbon Winner (jar and sentiment label), Canning Jar dies (custom made to fit stamps), Fancy Foliage Dies , and Lilacs from Our Daily Bread Designs.

I colored the lilacs with Copics and hand cut them, stamped the jar image on card stock and Acetate, and die cut them both. I drew the stems in and colored them on the card stock layer, then adhered the acetate die cut over top to make the jar look like it was glass and was full with water. Since some of my copics are running out of ink, it kind of made the jar look more like water...kind of a neat affect.

The panel behind the image is created with a spellbinders lattice die. The Dp is from My Mind's Eye.

A Sneak Peek....
Today I'm sharing a card that gives you a sneak peek of  one of my favorite of the September release from ODBD.  This set is called Jingle Bells. This bell image is just a partial peek of the image in the stamp set.

The scalloped layers are created with the Spellbinders Scalloped Borders one. The sentiment is framed with the ODBD Custom Recipe Card and Tag die. The image is framed with the Custom dies- Elegant Ovals from ODBD and Spellbinders Beaded Ovals dies. The top is embossed with a Darice Damask embossing folder.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you were inspired in some way by my creation.  Have a blessed day!!!

Hi Friends!! Sorry I have been so absent lately.  We just got back from camping for an extended weekend!  We had so much fun together as a family enjoying God's creation!!!

Today I would like to share a creation I made for this week's Shining the Light Challenge 168 (a sketch) at Our Daily Bread Designs.  I just love Strawberries and how fresh and yummy they look so I had to create a card for a friend using the Strawberries and Pickles, Garden Mini's and Peaches stamp sets from ODBD as well as the Quatrefoil Pattern Die

Happy Tuesday Friends!! I hope you are having a wonderful week so far!!  Today I have a fun card to share with you using the sketch from the Shining the Light challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs.  The sketch is flipped.

The background is created using the Beleek Inspired Technique (brayer an embossing folder on one side and then dry emboss).  The images are colored with copics.  The jars are cut and embossed using the Canning Jars Dies.  The flowers are using the Be Joyful stamp set.  The butterflies are a piece of one of the corners in the Birds Borders and corners Stamp set.

Here is a copy of the sketch:

Today we are taking a look back at Our Daily Bread Designs  August Release, here is the card/project I created using Peaches and the Fancy Foliage Die!!  I just love all the stamps and dies this month.  They are so fun, beautiful and versatile!!

Here is my creation:

The shape and labels of the card uses Labels one and Decorative Labels one from Spellbinders.  The image is embossed with a basket weave embossing folder to give it the look of Aida cloth.  The other layers are embossed with Darice Damask.  The image is colored with copics.

Here are the stamps and dies used from Our Daily Bread Designs:

Happy Tuesday Friends!!  It has been nice to be home for the last couple of days but boy has life been busy.  You go away for 5 days and it takes 5 days to catch up.  LOL!!!

Yesterday, between digging out sod to create yet another garden in our backyard, I created a card for this week's sketch challenge at the Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light Challenge.

Here is my interpretation of the sketch!!

Happy Monday all!! It has been a while since I have posted on a Monday.  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!! I know I did!!  The girls and I went for an enjoyable week to visit my parents in NY.  We had a great time visiting with family but it was so nice to come home and spend the weekend with my dear husband.  I so missed him while we were away!!  I thank God for such a dear friend and a husband I treasure so much!!

Today I would like to share a berry-licious card.  I just love the Our Daily Bread Designs Apron and tool dies.  When I saw the August Releases, I just knew the many fruit and vegetable themed stamps would be perfect with this set to make a creative card.  Here is what I created with the Strawberry and Pickles, Strawberries (sentiment), and Garden Mini's stamp set.

After coloring and cutting out my strawberries, I changed my plan for creating a background  and adhered them to a white base, cut the background out with the apron die and then embossed it with a Basket weave embossing folder.

Here is my creation:

Here are the stamps and dies used from Our Daily Bread Designs:

Hi all!!  I just love summer and all the flowers!!  Spring and summer are so exciting as you see the flowers bloom!!

Today I would like to share a card I made with Poppies!!  I decided to try something I had never done before....color an embossed background. This is NOT DESIGNER PAPER but rather I colored a piece of Neenah White Cardstock embossed with the Cuttlebug Poppy designed by Anna Griffin. I used copics 100 (black) G82, YG17, R81, R83, and R85.

The sentiment is from the Birthday Blessings stamp set from Our Daily Bread Designs . It is framed with the Spellbinders Classic Ovals and Beaded Ovals. The panel behind the oval is made with the Ribbon Banners dies from Spellbinders.

I hope you enjoyed my creation and are somehow inspired!! May God bless you with a wonderful week!!

hugs and blessings,

.....using several of the new releases from Our Daily Bread Designs:

My first project uses the Peaches (verse), Strawberries and Pickles (smaller strawberry), and the Garden Minis stamp sets as well as the ODBD Customized Fanciful Foliage Dies.  I had fun coloring the strawberries with copics and cutting them out.  The verse is framed with the Spellbinders Lattice Motifs and A2 Filigree Delight Dies.

My second project uses the Blue Ribbon Winner, PicklesStrawberries and Pickles  and Canning Jar Dies.  The pickles inside my jar on my tag is filled with pickles that were stamped and masked using the larger pickle from the Pickles Set.  The Recipe Card uses the Recipe and Tag Die, The Recipe Card Lines as well as the Pickles, and Blue Ribbon Winner (small jar) New Release stamps.  The Pickles label and ~Dill Pickles~ is from the Pickles stamp set.
