Happy Hump Day Everyone!! I hope you have been having a fantastic week!!  We had a wonderful time away in Lancaster.  I had the opportunity to do a lot of window shopping and even get started with my Christmas Shopping.  It was great to have some time with the family and away from the house for a bit.  I have been so absorbed with selling the house and it was great to not focus on it, if even for a short time.  The weather was gorgeous!!!  I can't believe we had 13 inches of snow a month ago and now the temps have been in the 60's!!  Very cloudy as of late but unseasonably warm.

Anywho on to my creations......I have two to share today.  One that I created using a Christmas image released a couple of months ago at Our Daily Bread Designs using some of my prized ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and the other a sneak peak for a release at Our Daily Bread Designs which will occur TOMORROW!!

First, I have a card I created using
Christmas Rose and Seed Packet stamp sets from Our Daily Bread Designs.  The image was colored with copics and then distressed.  The designer paper is from Basic Grey Capella.  I embellished the card using
brown 1/2 inch wrinkled ribbon tied with the the bow easy .  I decided to make a triple bow rather than a single bow and put a button in the middle.  Behind my image I used a crocheted doily to give my card a vintage flair as well as added some stitching.  The dp is dry embossed with a leaf or fern embossing folder to add texture.

CARD RECIPE:
StampsChristmas Rose and Seed Packet stamp sets from Our Daily Bread Designs.
designer paper- Basic Grey Capella.
ribbon:  brown 1/2 inch wrinkled ribbon tied with the the bow easy  (Really Reasonable Ribbon), pearl trim from my stash, button from my stash
Punches: Martha Stewart  Daisy Edge Punch

My second card was created for the CAS sketch challenge at Splitcoast Stampers.  I rarely do CAS creations but I did have fun creating this one.  I feel the flowers really take the show.  Since it has been cloudy around here, it felt good to create my own little bit of sunshine with the bright colors.  The flowers are created with the Daisy image to be released at Our Daily Bread Designs tomorrow and the Stitched Background (also a new release tomorrow).

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs: Daisy (Sneak Peek for tomorrow's Release), ODBD Stitched Background
Paper: Neenah white, Old Olive
Accessories: seam binding hand dyed and given to me by my dear friend Sabrina (Thanks Brina!!!!)

I hope you have enjoyed my creations!!  Thanks so much for stopping by and for your comments!!!  Prayerfully blogger will work today and I can leave my fellow friends some comments.  For some reason my computer repeatedly has been signing me out while leaving comments or even when trying to reply to emails. It is a real nuisance!!!

Anywho...so long until tomorrow when we have a new release Blog Hop at Our Daily Bread Designs!! Have a great day!!

Here is my take on the challenge using sneak peeks of the Little Things and Honey Comb Background stamps at ODBD to be released on December 1.  The border along the top is done with Floral Doily Accents from Spellbinders.  The background is embossed in gold and bordered with gold glitter paper.  The flowers are altered single prima flowers (very old stash) crumpled and layered together to make fuller blooms. The leaves are made with a Martha Stewart leaf punch and a Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish die.  The stick pin has pearls and gold glittered balls (from a floral swag at Michaels).  The lace and seam binding was gifted to me by my dear friend Sabrina.  Thanks Sabrina!!

Happy Sunday All!!! I hope you are all enjoying this weekend!! This one is very  busy for me as my family is here to celebrate Thanksgiving early.  Last night we had our turkey with all the fixings.  How Yummy and oh so fun!!  I feel like I gained a few pound over night. LOL!  It does feel good to think the big preparations for the Thanksgiving holiday are done.  Thursday, we will just have a nice quiet dinner among our family with a little less work or stress. LOL!

Today I am popping briefly to share this week's Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge hosted by Rebekka.

Rebekka chose the verse:
Job 13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him

Rebekka challenged the team to:
make a card of praise, using music, stamp, or design paper or just the word praise.

Here is my take on the challenge using the Blessed Christmas stamp set (an older set from ODBD) at Our Daily Bread Designs.

I used music on my card background using the Allegro embossing folder.  I also drew musical notes on my sentiment panel and added gold baubles.  The designer paper is from SU Holiday Traditions and K and Co. Elizabeth Browd (Holiday paper).  My panels are antiqued with gold embossing powder on the smaller panels and Antique Gold on the largest panel and over the embossing.  This card uses the layout from this week's Mojo Monday sketch 215.

This card was also made for the Splitcoast November Theme challenges using the Word Challenge: WORD1011 which is to use the letters in the word PLAY.
P- Pearls, Pin
L- Lace, layers
A- Antique Gold, Allegra embossing folder
Y- Yellow- yellow buttons and yellow gold accents

Card Recipe:
ODBD stamps: Blessed Christmas
Paper: SU Holiday Traditions, K and Co.- Elizabeth Browd, Ivory, Real Red
