Hello friends!! I hope you are all doing well!!

The summer is now here and soon both of my girls will be celebrating their birthdays!! I had so much fun using the new dies and stamps being released by Our Daily Bread Designs tomorrow to create a card and bookmark for my youngest daughter, Meghan.

I will share the bookmark now and the card tomorrow for the new release.

Our Daily Bread Designs, You Bless Me So, dies-Bookmark, Pierced Circles, Circles, Bitty Butterflies, Mini Stitched Hearts, designed by Chris Olsen

I used the new stamp set You Love Me So, the Alphabet die set, Bitty Butterflies dies, and the Mini Stitched Hearts dies as well as the previously released Pierced Circles dies, Circles dies and Bookmark dies

The flowers from the You Love Me So stamp set are so beautiful especially when colored.  I so enjoyed creating the background of the bookmark with them.  I colored them with copics.  The "M" is cut out with the Alphabet die set.

I hope you have enjoyed my creation...To see the remainder of the 3d card I created, please stop by my blog tomorrow.

Thank you so much for your visits and comments!!

Hello, Friends!! Happy Memorial Day!!  What a wonderful day in the USA to remember all those who gave their time and lives for the freedoms we all currently have in America.  Without their sacrifices, we would not have the freedoms we have today!!

I can't believe it has been so long since I last posted!!  Where has the time gone?  The last few weeks have been busy finishing up working with my students and with doctor appointments.  School is now over and summer has begun here in Virginia!!

Today I am popping in to share a couple of cards I created...one more feminine and the other more masculine.

The first one is a card I created for my husband using the Medallion Sentiments and Plough the Fields (for the image).  The sentiment is stamped and cut out with the Mini Tags dies.  The pine bough is created with the Pinecones dies and Lovely Leaves dies. The image is framed with a piece of black cardstock cut from the Pierced Ovals and Ovals dies.  The background is created with the Ephemera Essentials paper pad, the Pierced Rectangles and Rectangles dies.

The second card is more feminine and uses the Majestic Medallion die.  The Butterfly is created with the Fancy Fritillary die.  It is framed and layered on the Flourishy Frame Die.  The sentiment is from the Good Day stamp set and is cut out with the Pierced Rectangles and Filligree Frames dies.
I hope to be back tomorrow with a sneak peek!! In the meantime...I hope you all enjoy your holiday weekend in the USA!  Have a great day with family and friends.  Thanks so much for stopping by and for your comments.

"Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. "But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you? You men of little faith!

Here are my creations using the Howdy stamp set!!  I just love the silhouette!! It is so much fun to create scenes with!!

I used the Sunburst die and sponged it with different hues of orange and yellow to create my background.  The rectangular scene is created with the Howdy stamp set as is the circular panel.  The clouds in the scene are created with Clouds from the Clouds and Raindrops dies.  The star is also sponged and uses the Double Stitched Stars and Sparkling Stars dies layered.

My second creation uses the same Howdy stamp set but with a different look.  I used a piece of dp from Authentique that reminds me of Southwest with the Houndstooth pattern.

The sentiment panel is cut out with the Squares and Double Stitched Squares dies and is distressed with Tim Holtz ink.

Hello Friends!! Two posts within one week seems like a record for me as of late!! Life has been very busy and while I have been creating, I have had to wait to share this particular card until ODBD's recent release.

Today's card is for the Shining the Light challenge which is to use flowers and at least one stamp die, or paper from ODBD.  The flowers can be die cut, stamped, embellished or on paper.

Our Daily Bread Designs, Crocheted Circle Poppy, Good Day, Majestic Medallion Dies, Filligree frames die, Crocheted Circle Die, Pierced Circles die, Pierced Rectangles die, designed by Chris Olsen
ODBD Stamps Used: Good DayCrocheted Circle Poppy

I am just loving the Majestic Medallion Background!! It is so elegant and makes such a beautiful background!! The soft blue in the background makes it pop.  While you are unable to see it well in the photo.  The blue background paper is embossed for some added texture.

The poppy was colored with copic markers and die cut using the Crocheted Circle die.

For as the earth brings forth its sprouts, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to sprout up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to sprout up before all the nations.

Isaiah 61:11

Despite what happens around the world, God's name will be praised in the end.  Despite the arguments of government, the circus the primaries have become or all the terror in the world, God is still present .  Even if the world should perish, He alone with be praised and glorified!!

For more inspiration for this challenge, please visit my dt sisters: Robin and Diana or the ODBD blog.

Thanks so much for your comments and views!! They mean so much to me.

Have a blessed day!!

My first creation uses the new Tea Time Stamp set and Coordinating Tea Pot and Roses Die to create a Tea Pouch Gift Card Holder.  The cover of the project has the tea pot colored with copics, cut out with the coordinating die and mounted on the Flourishy Frame die.

The Flourishy Frame is mounted on a rectangular panel using the Pierced Rectangles dies, Rectangles Dies, and the Cozy Comfort Quilt Collection dp.  The embossed peach background is framed with a silver metallic paper cut from the Flourished Star Pattern

The design of this tea pouch gift card holder is my own.  It is not using a tutorial or someone elses idea.  Again the dp is from the Cozy Quilt Paper Collection.  The sentiment is from the Tea Time stamp set and is cut out with the Pierced Rectangles dies.  It is then mounted on a rectangle cut from the Lavish Layer dies.
