Good Morning Friends!! I hope you are all staying warm and are also escaping this year's flu season.
It appears that so many are affected by it.  Colds and flus are certainly running rampant here in Virginia.

Today I am popping in to share a fairly simple Birthday Card created using the Birthday Candles Dies, Pierced Rectangles, Today and Everyday stamp set, and the Birthday Bash Designer Paper.

The candles are created by using the negative cut outs of the Birthday Candles die.  The Flames are cut out with the dies and popped on top of the negative cut outs.  I just love the effect of the Birthday Bash Paper peeking through.  The sentiment is from the Today and Everyday stamp set.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!  Have a blessed day!

Hello Friends!!  Can you believe one month of 2018 is already over!! Today Our Daily Bread Designs kicks off a new month with a new release!!  The stamps and dies are gorgeous and are so fun to use.  The new release items I used below can be found here.  This month is full of fun birthday stamps and dies!!!

For my first creation, I used the new The Giving Gift Box dies, Gift Card Holder dies, A Gift for You dies, Happy Birthday Caps dies, Birthday Candle Dies, Today and Every Day Stamp Set as well as the Birthday Brights 6x6 paper collection.

This is the entire set,  inside and out.

This is the giving gift box that was created that was designed specifically to coordinate with the gift card holder.  The gift card holder fits perfectly within it.  In a addition to the The Giving Gift Box diesA Gift for You dies, Birthday Candle Dies, and Birthday Brights 6x6 paper collection were used.  The box is cut from Navy Cardstock.  The bright light blue is from the Birthday Brights collection. This piece of paper was trimmed by hand to frame the scalloped rectangle in the Giving Gift Box die set.

Happy Thursday friends!! I hope this post finds you all well and warm.  Here it is snowy and cold.  It is our second snow day in a row with no school and even the government offices are closed.  While it is cold outside it is so cozy and beautiful to look at the snow on the trees and blanketing the ground.  In a few days it will warm up so the snow is no longer around.  Here in VA it is nothing like being in NY where the snow lasts for weeks.

Today I am sharing a card with one of my favorite florals from Our Daily Bread Designs designed by my ODBD dt sister Diana Nyugen.  They are gorgeous!  This set is called His Love Endures stamp die duo. Half of the fun of designing cards is being able to color in colors that may or may not be realistic.  There are not many blue flowers out there.  I had a blast coloring and die cutting the roses, and adhering them with dimensional tape on the Doily die!!  The paper is from the Romantic Roses 6x6 paper pad collection.  The border on the bottom is cut from the Beautiful Borders die at ODBD.

Happy Tuesday, Friends!! I hope you are all staying warm and healthy!  The winter cold is sure out like a vengeance for so many in the USA.

Our daily bread designs, His Love Endures Forerver stamp die duo, Ornate Ovals, Romantic Roses paper, Center Step A2 card, Center Step A2 Card Layer dies, designed by Chris Olsen

Today I have a card to share with you using the ODBD release for January.  For the card above, I used His Love Endures Stamp/ die duo, Center Step A2 Card Die, Center Step A2 Layers, Ornate Ovals, and the new Romantic Roses Paper Pack.  I love this center step die and Romantic Roses paper with its vintage or feminine feel.  The roses are so fun to color and arrange to make a 3d card.  I just cut my card and layers using the Center A2 dies, adhered, stamped the roses, colored them with copics and die cut them, and arranged them as a frame around the Ornate Ovals including one of my favorite verses.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you enjoyed my cards today!

Blessings,
