Happy Hump Day Everyone!!  I hope you are doing well!!  Today we should be arriving home from our trip to Virginia....

Today I would like to share two creations with you for two different challenges.

My first creation is for the Whiff of Joy Challenge.  This week's challenge is a sketch designed by the sweet and talented Jane!!!

Here is my take on the sketch using the beautiful Pregnant Willow!! Wish I looked that good when I was pregnant.  My dear hubby often joked around about how huge I got...My first was 10 pounds...Right before I had the baby, Scott took a picture of me with a stuffed cow.  At that point I felt like one...I was two weeks late and growing huger by the minute it seemed.

Anywho...here is the beautiful Willow....

The designer paper is from Prima Sparkling Spring.  The swing is a digi I purchased from Crafty Secrets.  I just  love swings and this one is beautiful! My images are colored in with copics.  The sentiment is computer generated.

For more inspiration for the Whiff Of Joy Challenge, please visit my dt sisters:

My second creation is for the Your Next Stamp challenge hosted by my dear friend Crystal!!!  Crystal has challenged us to CHARM IT!

Here is my take on the challenge:

For my creation I used Rainy Day Fhiona.  She was so fun to color up and paper piece.  The designer paper is from My Mind's Eye.  The ribbon is SU Baja Breeze.  The flower charm is from Stamp and Create.  The cloud is cut out with a Spellbinders Label die.

  and Wendy

Sadly, this is my last post as a YNS designer.  I just love Your Next Stamp, Karen, and the designers but feel I need to step down to have more time to deal with some personal issues.  I have so enjoyed this team and their talent!! I will miss you all!!  Thanks for the opportunity to work with your awesome stamps Karen.  I look forward to seeing all you girls in blogland!!

Have a great day!! Thanks for stopping by and for all your comments!!

Here is my take on the sketch:

For my card I used the ODBD sets:  Mother's Day and Bird and Butterfly Labels.  The birds and butterflies labels coordinates with the Labels 18 die from Spellbinders.  I used the Spellbinders Grand Caliber to cut it out.  The designer paper is a gorgeous collection of papers from Kaiser Craft Lilac Avenue Paper I purchased from Susana Custom Arts and Card Designs.
The bow is tied with the bow easy using May Arts Purple Silk ribbon.

Happy Friday!  By the time this post goes live, I will be visiting with family and celebrating the Easter holiday.  I have been looking forward to spending some quality time with my sister and brother in law and the family for some time since we live so far apart and we don't see each other as much as we would like.  I hope you all have some fun plans as well!!

Before going on to the rest of my post, I wanted to say a sad farewell to the Wags n Whiskers dt.  I have been a part of this dt for over a year and a half but now it is time to say good bye as a dt member.  Life has become so busy and I have some personal things going on right now so I had to step down from a few teams.  I will definitely stalk the teams blogs and use the fun and adorable stamps whenever possible but not necessarily on a scheduled basis. I will miss you girls!!

And now for my Stamp and Create Creations......

Lacey, at Stamp and Create, is holding a special sale this weekend and next week for the holiday: 10% off whole order using discount code "easter"

Since it is almost Easter, I just had to use this darling Easter image from Wags n Whiskers one more time.  Isn't it so sweet.

I used the adorable Easter Blessings stamp set from Wags N Whiskers which I colored with copics.  I also you used White May Arts Ribbon which she tied into a bow with the bow easy and the Spellbinders Lacey Circles available at Stamp and Create!!  The designer paper is Basic Grey's Hello Luscious.

While I have shown this card before, I also wanted to share that Stamp and Create has now added the newest release of Whimsy stamps to the store, including: the new Madison Attitude stamp from the Kenny K (Whimsy) Rubber Stamp Collection, the Raindrop Echo Party Mini Letter seals, and the Whimsy Shapeology Banner Pennants Die now available in the store.

For more inspiration using Stamp and Create's stamps and products, please visit my dt sisters:

Have a great weekend!!

Wow will winter ever end and will it ever be spring...Not here in NY I think.... It's so nice to have some adorable and pretty images for Spring to use!  Hope you can join us for the challenge at Sunday's with Crissy  this month!  Crissy has so many fun images that are available as digis or rubber at Whimsy stamps

My first creation uses the darling Newborn Joon  and the Meadow background available at Whimsy Stamps and illustrated by Crissy.  Isn't he just darling?  The designer paper is from Websters Pages and SU (retired stash).  The bow is tied with the bow easy using White wrinkled ribbon from May Arts.  The image is colored with copics.  The card is framed in brown but the picture makes it look brown.

He was so fun to color and so adorable, that I just had to create a gift set with him.  I used the treat tube tutorial here at Splitcoast.

I had to vary the tutorial quite a bit for the ends though since I did not have the SU Fancy flower touch.  Heads up:  You can trace around your constructed pentagon shape for the pentagon top and use a circle (nesties) to create petals around it.

The complete giftset:

Now it's your turn to show us your Spring/Baby cards at the Sundays with Crissy challenge! There will be five free digi's given to one lucky challenge participant who will be chosen by Random.org at the end of the month! You may now use images from any company and still be included in the draw for the blog candy prize! Those who use one of Crissy's images, either from her rubber or digital collections will be entered twice in the draw. But please respect the rule of no more than three entries per month. Otherwise your entries could be deleted.

Click HERE to go enter your project!

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you have a great day!! Thanks for your comments!!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!! I hope you are enjoying some nice spring weather.  Unfortunately the weather does not want to cooperate here.  It has been quite chilly and rainy.  To get in the spring mode, I have been creating with some fun spring images.

My first card uses the darling Newborn Joon  and the Meadow background available at Whimsy Stamps and illustrated by the Uber talented Crissy Armstrong.

The designer paper is from Websters Pages and SU.  The bow is tied with the bow easy using White wrinkled ribbon from May Arts.  The image is colored with copics.  The card is framed in brown but the picture makes it look brown.  Tomorrow I will post a matching piece to this card to make it a giftset.
**********************************************************************
Next... I created a card with the darling new release from Your Next Stamp called  Song Bird.  One of my favorite things to do is watch the birds, especially blue birds.  Here is my creation:

I used paper from my Prima Madeline dp.  The image is colored with copics.  I also added spanish moss to the nest for texture.  The bird on the front is cut out with the Petite Ovals Spellbinders and my Spellbinders Grand Caliber.  The sentiment is computer generated.  The inside sentiment is cut out with the Spellbinders Labels 21.  In addition to my stitching, I added some hand drawn doodled faux stitching.
