SSCC Child- Penny Black Gift For You

Happy Sunday Everyone!! I hope you are all enjoying the weekend!! If all goes according to our plan, we will be visiting with family in Boston today.

I am popping in to share today's Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge this week!!

This week's hostess is the sweet and talented Miesje!!!

Miesje chose the verse:

Luke 18:17 "Amen I say to you, whoever does not accept the kingdom of God like a child will not enter in"

Have you ever watched or known a child who is so curious and asks trillions of questions it seems. They are eager to learn and are like sponges soaking everything in. That is what God wants for us.. He wants us to seek Him in our sleep, in our waking up and throughout the day. He wants us to be eager to read His Word and to seek the plans He has for us. Those who study His word and are eager to His will accepting the gift of eternal life He has bestowed upon us will be in heaven someday.

To go with this verse, Miesje has chosen the challenge:
Make a card for a child.

I rarely have the opportunity to use my many Penny Black stamps. Although I have many, it seems I just never seem to have the time to ink them up and I really do LOVE them so. For today's make a card for a child challenge, I decided to make a card with the Gift For You stamp from Penny Black. I colored it with copics.

The designer paper is from Prima Sparkling Spring. The image is popped on a gold embossed (on the edge) oval cut out with a Petite Ovals nestability. The embossed panel is embossed with Provocraft Spots. The sentiment is typed on my PC and cut out with my spellbinders ovals.
