Happy Monday All!! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend!! I know I did.
My last post was on Saturday since I wanted to allow two days for my blog hop post for Inky Impressions and my Blog Candy , until September 19, to stay at the top. But now I am back with a post and the link to the blog candy is on my sidebar. While I would love you to become a follower of my blog, it is not a must in orderto win. This candy is smaller than the one that is coming up on September 30. I have been perusing the stores and websites for some goodies for you all for that candy. That one you won't want to miss!!
Well anywho...on to my post.....
My first card is one I made using this months new release from Our Daily Bread Designs, Doodles 2 Thinking of You and Doodles 1 Get Well. I just love these butterflies and flourishes and all the awesome sentiments that come along with them.
Card Recipe:
stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs- Doodles 1 Get Well, Doodles 2 Thinking of you
Paper: Pink Pirouette, White
Accessories: Hero Arts Pearls, Leaves embossing folder, pink grossgrain 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch
*********************************
The second card I created is for Sweet N Sassy's Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge 21. I used the Stanley Penguin Digital from Sweet N Sassy. Isn't he darling!!! I just loved this sketch and it was just perfect for him!!! I colored it with Prisma color pencils and gamsol. The snowflakes are felt snowflakes from SU's winter mini last year. The punched border is Martha Stewart's New Border Punch.
I wish the picture showed the colors a little better. It looks so much nicer in person.
Card Recipe:
Stamps: Stanley Penguin Digital from Sweet N Sassy Stamps
Paper: SU Ski Slope, SU Urban Garden, Black, Baja Breeze, and White
Accessories: MS Snowflake Punch, Flurries from SU, Blue Rhinestones, Prisma Color Pencils, Gamsol, Swirls and Snowflakes Embossing Folder, Black Grosgrain

Many of you know Vicki from Stamped Smiles. She is such an awesome crafter and person. I just love her blog and creations. One of the posts I have enjoyed the most are her hidden potential posts. They are so fun and creative!!! Next month she is starting a challenge blog called Saturday Spotlight with Hidden Potential. In Vicki's honor and for the challenge, I wanted to try my hand at creating a card using one stamp and using it in a different or unique way. Here is what I came up with. The sketch is from this week's Crazy 4 Challenges 2. What a fun and versatile sketch Cindy created!!
I used the Making Memories Autumn Splendor and TPC Studio Christmas Glamour sets to create this card. The snowflake flower on the front is made using an the ornament that I stamped out below for you to see. The tree inside of the card is made using the wheat sprig that I stamped out below. What fun I had creating this card!! The paper is Baja Breeze and K&Co. Winter Wonderland pack. Isn't it gorgeous paper!!! IRL it sparkles!!
If you liked my Hidden Potential post than you really should check out Vicki's blog (She has some real talent!!!) or her new challenge blog that begins in October. She is giving away blog candy as a kick off. Check out my sidebar or better yet just click the link here for more details on how to win!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! I will be back to visit your blogs after I finish one more card or project for a dt that is due today. Gotta go!! Oh...Don't forget, if you have not seen the Inky Impressions Blog Hop or my Blog candy, scroll down to the next post.
Have a great day!!!
