Happy Hump Day to all!! I hope you are all having a fab week!! Today is both Flutter By Wednesday and Inky Impressions Challenge Day!

There is lots of fun to be had at both places since Danni turns 40 on Friday and is having a Birthday Bash all month!!!! Nicole, Inky Impressions Owner is also celebrating her birthday this month as well so all the challenges at Inky Impressions involve birthdays or something favorited by Nicole. Now I happen to think these two girls are just the coolest ever. After all they do share my birthday month too!!! Teehee!! I too will be putting up blog candy at some point this month to celebrate my Hatch day! I can't do it yet as I am still collecting. Trying to sweeten up the pot a bit for you. This is my first blog candy so it has to be good!

Anywho....both the Inky Impressions challenge and Flutter By Wednesday Challenge are asking participants to create a birthday card. For Inky Impressions you must include an Inky Impressions stamp and for Flutter By Wednesday it must include a fairy or butterfly on it. I combined the two challenges. I also challenged myself to not use any designer paper. I succeeded!!! That is hard for me. Here is my card for this week!

I used my favorite in color: Bermuda Bay! The Inky Impressions stamp I used is: Lili's Chicks but I left off the chicks and had her pointing at the sentiment instead. I used one of my Spellbinders pendants and some Fiskars punches for my background. The image is colored in with prisma color pencils and gamsol. What do you think? The butterfly is a butterfly sizzix die available at SU. I love this die!

You will definitely want to participate in Danni's challenges this month since it gives you a chance to win some blog candy she if offering each and every week. Now is that generous or what.

In order to win her candy, you must create a card for this challenge and you must also answer this question in her comments under the blog post.

  • What is Danni's favorite indulgance? You can find this answer somewhere in her blog posts for the last 2 weeks.
You have until next Tuesday night, Sept. 8th at midnight (Mountain time zone) to enter. Danni will announce the winner next Wednesday, Sept. 9th.
Now I bet you want to know what you could win~ right? Well..here's a photo~

And a detailed list. She chose things from Susana's store that are some of my favorite products and Susana donated a few too!!

So what are you waiting for?? Go create a birthday card with a butterfly or a fairy on it and get entered to win some fun stuff!

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope this post inspires you to create and maybe even create for one of these two challenges!

Thanks for all you wonderful comments. It really makes my day to read them!

Tomorrow I will be back for the divine diva challenge and for a challenge sponsored by Our Daily Bread Designs (There are prizes involved so you don't want to miss it!)
