Here are my creations for today's hop:
These fun sets are not only good for cards but for altered projects as well!! I so love cardinals and I thoroughly enjoyed making this lantern using the Sing For Joy stamp set that is being released today!!
The image is colored in copics and then I applied Crystal Lacquer to give it a sheen and more durability. The lantern I purchased at Michael's in the bridal department. The candle inside is a flickering battery operated tea light candle. The snow on the top is Snow Tex. A few pine branches, grapevine, flowers, and spanish moss and wah lah, finished. My girls loved this so much they thought it would be a fun night light in their bedroom.
Lantern Recipe:
Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs-Sing for Joy stamp set
Accessories: Crystal Effects, spanish moss, pine branches (faux), grapevine, battery operated tea light, lantern from Bridal department at Michaels
This second project is a mailbox I made using Lauren Meader's Lunch box template. I altered it to look like a mailbox instead. The image is a combination of the Sing for Joy and You will find Refuge stampsets. I masked the chickadee and used the pine surrounding the cardinal to surround the chickadee. The image is colored with copics. The sentiment is from the New Release Nest.
Mailbox recipe:
template: lunch box from Lauren Meader at Paper Trey Inc.
Stamps: All Our Daily Bread Designs- Nest (sentiment) Sing for Joy, You will find Refuge
Paper: SU-Sweet Always, Imaginescence-Fairest of them All, Bitter Chocolate, White
Accessories: May Arts Pink Satin Ribbon with grossgrain edge, brown satin ribbon, jumbo eyelet, Martha Stewart Mega Heart Border Punch, soft swirls embossing folder from Cuttlebug, Lattice Spellbinders die, Circle Spellbinders dies, Nursery Tales Soft pink trim
Lastly is a card I created for a couple of friends of ours who just closed on a new house this past week. I used the New Release Nest. The image is colored with copics, all the dies are from Fleur De Lis and Lattlice Pendant Spellbinders Sets.
Card Recipe:
Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs: Nest
Paper: Origins from Basic Grey, Bitter Chocolate, Celery Green
Accessories: Fleur De Lis Spellbinders, Lattice Pendant Spellbinders, May Arts light green Satin ribbon with Grosgrain Edge, sewing machine, Bow Easy, ZVA Creative Pearls
My secret words:
And Jesus
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my creation. For more inspiration, please hop to the next stop Grace.

I agree with your children. The lantern would make a beautiful night light. IT is so spectacular! You brought out the details in the cardinal. I watch them, too. Oh, it would make a beautiful Christmas decoration!
The wonderful mailbox! What a great idea. It has truly tranformed. Too bad you couldn't put the bird in a nest on the inside and shine a light in there, so we can see it and it's little chick-a-dees. LOL
The "Welcome" card is beautiful. I counted 7 layers. I almost missed the sewing machine stitches. I had to put my glasses on for it!
I love the colors, and that perfect bow. Maybe you could get your card delivered air mail...by one of the birds!
