Happy Tuesday Everyone!! I hope everyone is enjoying their week and had a good beginning so far!! We here in NY are preparing for a major snow storm beginning tonight. My husband is like a big kid and is praying for a blizzard which keeps him stranded and allows him the opportunity to pull the girls on their toboggan! The girls are excited as well. Weird as it may sound, since I really don't love the snow, I hope for their sakes we get one last good snow. Then winter can end...

Well anywho, since today is Tuesday, it is time for the Midnight Madness Sketch!

Here is this week's sketch!

Once again, it's "YOUR PICK". Have fun creating! Make it fancy, clean and simple, or somewhere in-between. Enter one of each if you like! Have fun and enjoy your crafting.

Here is my take on the sketch!

Today I am so blessed to share a sneak peak of the new images that are being released on Friday from Wags n Whiskers, one of the stamp lines that Lacey carries in her store! This is a real honor as the real sneak peaks do not start until tomorrow at all the Wags n Whiskers design teams blogs!! Since Lacey is the sponsor, she thought it would be fun for me to share one image with you today. This is one of my fave images called "Easter Blessings" I also thought this image appropriate since Valentine's Day is right around the corner and this image definitely shows me LOVE.

To accommodate my image, I flipped the sketch. I had so much fun coloring "Easter Blessings" with water color distress inks and adding new paper, new flowers available at Michaels!, new spacers and charms sent to me from Lacey at her Stamps and create store (the silver flower on the top and the three little ones on the bottom, I just added small hero arts pearls in the middle)The very vanilla paper behind the image is dry embossed in the textile embossing folder.

In addition to using the challenges listed above, I incorporated the Wags N Whiskers Challenge for this week which is to add metal to your creation, it can be charms, spacers...anything metal. If you play, you have a chance to win a Wags n Whiskers stamp of your choice. You must use a Wags n Whiskers stamp for a chance to win.

Wow, Chris, that is beautiful. I love that image, because it reminds me of when my kids were little and I had their picture taken at Pennies with the bunnies. We did that 2 years in a row, and then I think Pennies decided taking pictures with live rabbits wasn't the best idea, lol. It made for some fun pictures! I hope your husband gets the snow he wants so he can take your family around on the tobagen ;D

Have fun in the snow! Yes, we're bracing ourselves here in NE Ohio for the same storm. Should be as bad here as last weekend 14" ... time will tell! Stay warm!

Hi Chris,

This Easter card is lovely! You have so many beautiful things used in this card...I didn't even notice the bunnies at first. I thought it was a Valentine Card.

I love how you combine patterns so gracefully. The tiny little flowers toward the bottom of the card even add something as well. I wish I knew how you connected your pearls with a swag to them! There is no glue showing!

You are so awesome at what you do!

I must be the only person flying from warm Florida to 34" of snow so far just outside of Washington D.C...no, I'm not the only one! Dave is going, too! My first snowball fight since the mid 80's when I last saw it. Note to self: Don't bother bringing shorts!
