Here is this weeks Sketch :

"YOUR CHOICE"
Enter one style or both this week.

Now for my take on the sketch:

My creation uses Glory of Easter from Cornish Heritage Farms :

I really do think these stamps are perfect for Easter so I created and Easter card with one of my fave colors: Baja Breeze. I did not want to take away from the stamped portion of the card so I embossed my Baja Breeze with the Victoria Embossing folder. The image and sentiment is framed with a flower blossom from Spellbinders and flourishes also from the Flourish Spellbinder since I don't own any heart spellbinders.

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Glory of Easter from Cornish Heritage Farms
Paper: Baja Breeze, Bitter Chocolate, and white
Accessories:
Victoria Embossing folder, flower blossom and flourish spellbindners, pearls, Vintage corner dies from Cuttlebug, ZVA Creative pearl flourishes, mini roses from Nursery Tales, lace given to me in a RAK

Challenges:
Creative Inspirations - Feminine
Cute Card Thursday - Flowers
Double Dutch Dare - Summer in Winter
Practical Scrappers- Die Cuts

Since I have done so many inspirational cards lately, I also wanted to add a cutesy type card that I created with the sketch. I received this High Hopes stamps from my dear friend and dt sister Lacey Stephens. It is called Snow Yummy and it is one of the newer releases from High Hopes. Lacey has this image in here in her store: Stamp and Created and it is currently on sale!!!

I had fun with this creation. The most fun was burning the snowflakes with my heat gun to give it more distressing and color. LOL! The image is colored with Prisma Color and Gamsol and then embossed. The paper is Frosty Snowflake dp from SEI.
Stamps: High Hopes: Snow Yummy from Stamp and Create Store
Paper: Frosty Snowflake dp from SEI, Bitter Cnocolate Dp from Bazzill, Neenah Solar White
Accessories: ribbon, vintage corners from Cuttlebug, Martha Stewart snowflake punch, lace, red gems, snowflake embossing folder.

Challenges for this card:
Belli Challenge - hearts
Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge - Hearts

Dear Chris,

I love when you make feminine cards with lace. That Easter card is so beautiful. Your family must really be Blessed when they have a birthday or holiday and get one of your cards!
I am sure they treasure every one of them.

And your more informal cards are the same, a treasure to cherish. I love how yoiu get extra layers in by embossing different parts of a card.
