Hi all!! Just popping in to wish all my blogging friends a Happy and Blessed Easter!! What a joyful day to remember that our Lord died for us and is Risen!!! There is no greater gift!!
I always have felt the time of year for celebrating Easter is so appropriate with all the new life that begins. It is irony that we receive new life in Him if we believe and all nature shows new life at the same time of year. I so love Spring!!!
Today I would like to share two creations.
For my first card, For my card I used the stamp sets Quote Collection 3 , Antique Label Designs, Words of Faith , and the Tulip tag set from Our Daily Bread Designs.
The dies used include ODBD Antique Labels and Borders , Spellbinders- ovals, Resplendent Rectangles and Jumbo Scallops.
The embossing folder on the Border is Stampin Up Tulip Border.

My second creation is a sneak peek of the Our Daily Bread Designs Hyacinth stamp set as well as the Quatrafoil Label dies that will be released on Monday, April 1. I made a set of 8 gift cards/tags, however, I am sharing only a few of them since there are only 4 different designs. The shape of the Quatrefoil Label is beautiful and I keep on thinking of more I can use them for!!

Welcome to Our Daily Bread Design's Alumni Team's last bi-monthly For the Love Blog Hop. Beginning next month Our Daily Bread Designs will continue to have the Alumni team share their creations but it will not be a hop.
This week the Alumni team along with some of the ODBD designers are featuring a hop For the Love of Crosses! Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, each stop will have a full list of links. One of the posts is a hop hot spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to win a $15 ODBD store gift certificate. So, all you have to do is hop along and see all the creations and leave a little love! You have until Wednesday, April 10th, at 6 pm. Enjoy all the beautiful designs featuring For the Love of Crosses!
Since Easter is on it's way, what better time to share crosses, a symbol of what the true meaning of what Easter is all about.
If you arrived here from Connie's blog, you are in the right place, if not, you may want to start at the beginning so you do not miss any of the inspiration or a chance to win.
For my first creation I used He Will Rise, as well as two sneak peek dies: Quatrefoil Pattern and Quatrefoil Design (that will be released on April 1)
Card Recipe:
Stamps: He will Rise
Dies: Sneak Peek of Quatrefoil Pattern and Quatrefoil Label
and Spellbinders Banners
Paper: SU Blushing Bride, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede
Here is a picture of the stamp set used:
Here is the list of all the participants just in case you get lost along the way:
Thanks so much for visiting today! To continue on the hop, your next stop is the fabulously talented and sweet Lori!!

Happy Hump Day Everyone!! I can't believe half the week is over already. Time is just flying by. Today is a nice sunny day and it makes you feel like spring is on it's way. I just love bright colors at this time of year since it just makes it more cheerful even when you are suffering with the winter dulldrums. For that reason, I just had to play with yesterday's CC419 color challenge at Splitcoast Stampers. Karen chose the colors:
More Mustard
Tempting Turquoise
Daffodil Delight
I used a sneak peak from Our Daily Bread Designs : Finch Collage to be released on Monday, April 1 and the Antique labels and Designs stamps with the matching custom Antique Labels and Border dies. I embossed the image with the Basket Weave embossing folder from Stampin Up. All cardstock is also SU.
Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs: Scripture Collection 10 , Let the Earth Rejoice
Papers: Bo Bunny Little Miss, groovy guava, bitter chocolate
Dies: Elegant Ovals , Spellbinders Floral and classic Ovals
Accessories: Green Silk ribbon from May Arts

My next creation is one I made for Janette's gorgeous sketch, SC429, today and since I am just loving all the new Scripture, Quote, and Sentiment collections at Our Daily Bread Designs, I had to use one today.

Happy Tuesday Friends!! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend or Palm Sunday. It is hard to believe next week is Easter!! Usually I think of Spring when I think of Easter...not so this weekend. We got over 4 inches of snow and sleet!! Oh well...making cards with pastels made me feel like spring.
Today I would like to share one of those cards. Since next week is Easter, the Shining the Light challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs wants to see your Easter creations with the theme "He is Risen". Here is my creation using Scripture Collection 10, Let the Earth Rejoice and Happy Spring. The egg in the background is one I made out of wood using Words of Faith and Happy Spring/Pussy Willow and Egg for a centerpiece at Easter.
Card Recipe:
stamps: ODBD Stamps Used: Scripture Collection 10, Happy Spring, Let the Earth Rejoice
ODBD Dies Used: Recipe Card and Tags Die
other dies: Spellbinders Labels 27, Classic Circles, Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourisih
accessories: May Arts Silk ribbon, prima flowers, flower ribbon (gifted), Darice Embossing Folder

Happy Monday all!! I hope you are all doing well!! The snow is on the ground and boy does it ever look like a winter day. I am cozy inside with the fire going.
Today I would like to pop in and share another card with you. I like to watch Dr. Charles Stanley on Sunday mornings/evenings before church and this was the theme of his sermon focusing on Easter. While this is not in Easter colors, it definitely shows the true meaning of Easter.
For my card I used Crocheted Background , Scrolly Borders and Scripture Collection 11 from Our Daily Bread Designs.
I colored parts or the scroll frame and background with Marina Mist and Baja Breeze but it is hard to distinguish in the photo.
The dies to frame the sentiment is created with Spellbinders Fancy Labels 2.

Hello Friends!!
I just love Easter and the hope and new life Christ brought when he died on the cross so I decided to make an Easter Centerpiece using Words of Faith and Happy Spring/Pussy Willow and Egg from Our Daily Bread Designs. Rather than stamping on paper, I stamped on wooden eggs. What a fun project!! For complete step by step directions and materials, you can see my tutorial at the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog here.
