Happy Tuesday Everyone!! Today is one busy day here at blog land with lots of hops and releases!! This is my second post for the day. If you are here for the ODBD blog hop, please scroll down to the next post. If you have not seen my Our Daily Bread Designs Blog Hop post, you may want to join that hop....there are some real stunning creations along the way...This month ODBD is releasing Fuscias!!
Anywho....if you are here for the Whimsy Stamps Digi Release Blog Hop and came from Maddy's Blog, you are in the right place!! I am the last stop...I sure hope you have been inspired by the teams awesome creations!! If you have not been on the hop you may want to start at the beginning for your chance to win the prizes ( If you left comments along the way you have a chance at winning 5 Whimsy digis of your choice!!!) One mystery DT member will choose a winner!!! The hop will run through 12noon EST Tuesday, June 8th when the winner will be announce!
I have two creations to share with you today. The first is a digi illustrated by Crissy Armstrong (Oh and by the way...it is Crissy's birthday today so if you have a chance please stop by her blog and leave her a Happy Birthday, I am sure she would appreciate the love) from this month's Whimsy Stamps Digital Release called Maya Making Wishes.and the Maya Making wishes digital sentiment set designed by Ann. I just love how she is blowing out a dandelion.
The layout of my card uses the Midnight Madness sketch challenge for this week.
I also incorporated Flutter By Wednesday(butterfly, angel, or fairy) The designer paper is my new favorite-Capella from Basic Grey.
Whimsy is also hosting their own challenge. This month's challenge is to create a card or project with a summer theme and the twist is to use a bug or insect on your creation. Half of the team has made some awesome creations for this challenge which are posted on the Whimsy Inspiration Blog. You will want to check out all their fun and beautiful designs.
This is my take on the challenge using: Fru Fru Fairy Flora illustrated by Meljen Designs for this month's Whimsy Stamps Digital Release!! The designer paper is BG Kioshi. The sentiment is from Whimsy stamps Ticket Sentiments designed by Ann.

Hope I spelled that right!! LOL!! Your stitching is beautiful and I LOVE your dp, not to mention that adorable sparkley image, pearls, die cuts and punches!! I know they miss you at Midnight Madness and I hope my creations can come out at least half as fantastic as yours. Can't set the bar too high for myself, can I? LOL!! Hey Chris-It's great to see you play the MMSC challenge. Of course I am always treated to the best of the best when I come to view your cards...so beautiful. Our family went on vacation last week so now I am playing some major catch up....I just finished my MMSC56 card last night.lol I am waiting for the sun to come to take a picture of it. Love angels so both these cards wowed me. I'm always shy of using 'busy' papers, cause I'm afraid the image won't stand out. WELL, you sure proved me X. I love the layering and how easily you made the images pop by setting them against white. Will have to give it a try:) Just hope some of your talent rubbed off!!
