Happy Saturday!! My first post of the week that is not scheduled!! I am home from vacation!! We had a great time but boy does time fly by!! It seemed so short!! The weather was warm with only one evening of rain. What a blessing!!

Anywho...today I have a Shining the Light Challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs to share with you.

This week the team would like you to create a bookmark. We thought it was time to do something other than a card. This challenge will be up for two weeks due to the holiday and new release on July 1st! So...you have until July 8 at 8 p.m. to join us and link your creattion.

To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize , a $ 15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday, July 8. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday.

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them.

My bookmark is a creation I created of Our Daily Bread Designs sneak peak Our Daily Bread to be release on July 1!!

It was so much fun to think out of the box and a real challenge for me. I used the Origins Basic Grey Paper and Labels 9 nestabilities. I added lots of ribbon. I am sure to find my place in my devotional bible with all the ribbon.

Card Recipe:
stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs sneak peak Our Daily Bread
Paper: Basic Grey Origins
Accessories: Labels 9 Nestabilities, silk ribbon, cross charm (Thanks America!!), tassel

challenges:
Crafty Ann's - Embossing
Cow Girl Sunday - Anything Goes
Whoopsi Daisy - Ribbons and Bows
ABC - X is for Xtra Dimension
Caardvarks - Embossing
Twisted Thursday - Something new (brand new image to be released as a digi and rubber today!!)
Sew Many Challenges- anything goes
Cute Card Thursday-reduce, reuse, recycle-scrap ribbon- some of my ribbon was too short for bows or to go around a card but it was perfect for this.
Going Grey with ScrapCreations- open with Basic grey paper
Meljen's designs- bookmark or tags

This week marks the last week as teamies at Our Daily Bread Designs for some of our challenge team members: Natalie, Christine, and America!!
