Happy Sunday Everyone!! I hope you are all having a good weekend!! I am still away so I can't tell you how mine is going. I am sure the wedding went well and that we are enjoying our time with family and friends.
Today I would like to share this week's Stampin Sister in Christ Challenge hosted by my dt sister and very dear friend: Grace. Grace chose the verse: Psalm, 95:1-3a "O come, let us sing for joy to the Lord, let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation, Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God..." Have you ever stopped to think what a blessing or miracle music is. We use music to express our joys, sorrows, anger, and etc. It also can help alter our feelings when we are lonely, tired, sad, etc. I can't help but think how miraculous it is that we can sing and have different tones and pitches in our voice. What a gift from God!! Music is something we often take for granted that is so much a part of our everyday lives.
Grace's Stampin Sister in Christ challenge: Make a card or project that depicts music or joyful praise.
Here is my take on the challenge:
For my card I used the Sing to the Lord image and sentiment from Our Daily Bread Designs. The dp is from the DCWV Music stack. I used several spellbinders for my creation including: Labels 10, Scalloped Frame Spellbinders, and Floral Accent. I laced ribbon through my frame. The top border is using a MS Border Punch. The bow is created with the bow easy and silk ribbon.
