Happy Friday Everyone!! Today our family is on our way to Virginia to attend my dear nephew's wedding tomorrow. It will be a long trip for us but fun to see all the family and friends!! I have scheduled posts for every day while I am away so it will be like I am not even gone in blogland. LOL! Oh and don't forget...Monday...Whimsy has a new release blog hop on Monday!!
It's time for the Wags N' Whiskers Challenge. This weeks challenge is brought to us by the lovely and talented Nikki and she has chosen a a colour challenge...."Pink and Green". I just love this fun color combo!!!
The adorable image I am using this week is from the "Fun in the Sun" new release collection....."Picnic with a Friend".
I had so much fun paper piecing and water coloring my image!! I used the Basic Grey Paper: Lemonade. The layout follows the Stamp With Fun sketch for this week but I added the bow and ribbon to it as well.
Card Recipe:
Stamps: Wags n Whiskers: Picnic with a Friend
Paper: Basic Grey Lemonade, Old Olive, white
Accessories: Fancy Tags Spellbinders, Classic Butterfly punch, MS Shell border punch, glitter, prima cameo roses, Bosskut flourish die
Challenges:
Penny's Challenge: 2 dp, 3 embellishment and ribbon
Flutter By Wednesdays: butterfly, angel or fairy with paper piecing
Practical Scrappers~punches
Wee Memories~ stitching
A Time to Craft: Too cute
Papertake Weekly: Shiny, Sparkle and special (choose one or all 3)
Crafty Calendar- Great Outdoors
