Happy Saturday Everyone!! I hope you all have had a good start to your weekend!! Since today is Saturday, it is time for another Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light Challenge.

This week the team is challenging you to create a Graduation Card or gift.

To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize, a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday, May 13. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday. While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them.
As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award. In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by May 13 at 8 p.m. EST.

If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC12. When creating your posts on blogs please in clude a link to the challenge.

Here is my take on the challenge:

For my card I used the As You Graduate and Sing to the Lord stamp sets from Our Daily Bread Designs to make a graduation card for my niece. The layout uses the CCEE sketch from a week ago. It is so fun and different from most sketches! The ribbon is laced through the top and baubles are added in between the lacing. I used the border punch from SU and a MS Shell border punch. Some of the layers are dry embossed but you need to click on the photo for a close up to see it.

recipe:
Stamps: As You Graduate and Sing to the Lord stamp sets from Our Daily Bread Designs
Paper: Deja Views Kiss Lace, Heidi Snapp Crazy Love
Accessories: SU Border Punch, MS Shell border Punch, bow easy, May Arts white satin ribbon, gold cording, Circle classic and scalloped border punch, silver baubles

Thanks for stopping by and for all your comments.

blessings,
Chris
