ODBD Bread Basket

Thursday, September 24, 2015
Hello, friends!! I had a moment more to craft, so I thought I would share it with you!! Aquariums and the ocean have always been soothing and calming for me.  Ask my hubby...if I am ever upset, you will see me staring at the fish in our aquarium.  It is my way of being "still" or "taking time to smell the roses" so to speak.

I had so much fun coloring up this scene!!  I will be using it for my hubby on our 18th wedding anniversary in January!!  I know, I am a little ahead but with it being Jan. 3 and so close to being away visiting family and the holidays, it is so easy to not have the time to create a special card.  Since I had this set out and he LOVES fish especially tropical or salt water fish, I thought this would be perfect.

Our Daily Bread Designs, designed by Chris Olsen, Deep Sea, leafy edged border, fish pattern die, ornate hearts die, boho background die

ODBD Stamps Used: Deep Sea
ODBD Dies Used: Leafy Edged BorderFish Pattern Ornate Hearts, Boho Background

This card fits the ODBDSCL255 challenge which is to be inspired by the photo or quote, "All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small...." You can see more details here.

I hope you have a blessed day!! Thanks for stopping by and for your kind comments!!

Oh, Chris, this is gorgeous, and I love how you've popped some of the elements in your "aquarium" inside the heart - ah, so sweet! And what a perfect sentiment for an anniversary card! He's going to love it (now be sure to put it somewhere you'll remember it...hehe!). Yes, I agree with you about going to a "happy place" when we feel stressed, and I love sitting in front of an aquarium...so peaceful and tranquil. Another beautiful card, my friend, and you know how much I love your artistry in putting together dies perfectly - you make some of the best cards! Sending hugs!

How much fun is this card. He will love it completely. Your coloring is great and making some of the elements stand off really adds to the card. Excellent.

Hugs and Blessings
