ODBD Bread Basket

Thursday, April 4, 2013
Hello Friends!! I have  a card to share today using this month's ODBD release of two fabulous dies: Quatrefoil Pattern,and Quatrefoil Design I just love the sheer elegance of them and the so many versatile designs you can use to create with them!!!  For today's card I cut them out of Vanilla cardstock and used an R00 copic to highlight some of the design in the die.

I decided to use some nice soft and happy PINK as my background!  It makes me feel happy and like spring or summer!!  I then added a sentiment from Our Daily Bread Designs Hyacinth which I stamped on Ribbon Banners from Spellbinders.  The foliage is created with a Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish, Martha Stewarts leaves, and Martha Stewarts Twig out of Old Olive and Bridal Bouquet.

Our Daily Bread Designs April 2013 Release ODBD Exclusive Quatrefoil Design Die

I just love the delicate and elegant feel these dies create!!

Yesterday marked our one year Anniversary of moving here to Virginia!! While I can't say life has been easy, we can see the blessings God has bestowed upon us and the lessons we have learned and continue to learn.  I thank God for leading us here and for the many wonderful friends we have met.  I would like to share a verse that has meant a lot to Scott and I over the last few months...a reminder that we are not alone.

So do not fear, for I am with you;
    do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
    I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Isaiah 41:10

Food for Thought: A life without God no matter how happy you feel you are is less fulfilling then a life with God no matter how many difficulties you face.

Have a blessed weekend!! Thanks for stopping by!!

blessings,

I am entering this in the Word Art Wednesday Challenge.

Today, while I was at work, my cousin stole my iPad and tested to see if it can survive a
40 foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation.
My apple ipad is now broken and she has 83 views. I know this is totally off
topic but I had to share it with someone!
