Happy Sunday Everyone!! I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful weekend!!  Today is a new Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge!

Today's challenge is hosted by the sweet and talented Peggysue!!  Peggysue chose the verse:
John 1o:1o "I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly."

What a comforting verse we have knowing that He came to earth to be like us without sin and able to give what only He can give ~ eternal life and the comfort that He lives on us.  Without the Christmas story of Jesus birth and the Easter story of how He died for our sins, there would be no hope for us.
Thank you Jesus for coming to die for us.

Today I reflect on September 11, 2001 when our nation was struck with tragedy.  What a tragedy that affected so many. How awful!!  What hope do we get from this TRAGEDY!  For those who have accepted Christ's gift, they have the comfort of knowing that they will one day be reunited with their loved ones they lost in eternity. I pray for all those affected in this tragedy and our nation for its loss!

Peggysue's challenge to us at Stampin Sisters is:
"Use real or faux stitching somewhere on your card/project,"
Here is my take on the challenge:

For my creation I used the digi image Little school Books illustrated by Meljens available at Whimsy stamps to create a back to school fall back pack for my cousins daughter who is just beginning school.  Isn't it just a fun school time image.  I added faux stitching or line around my image for this weeks challenge.  The dp is retired SU paper that I love (Haiku!)

For more inspiration, please visit my dt sisters:

Grace, Linda, Lisa, Peggysue, Randi, Meisje, Rebecca, Patti  and Cindy
