Hello All!! I can't believe it is Thursday!! Time sure flies. After being away, I having a little difficulty with time organization, and my Mojo....BIG TIME! I feel like I am slacking...
Well I am not catholic...but I feel like "Father I have sinned..." and I need to confess to relieve myself of some guilt. Preparing for vacation so consumed my mind a few weeks ago and then there was the actual vacation for 2 1/2 weeks, that I totally neglected my nieces birthday. I usually don't forget a birthday and I feel so bad but also embarrassed. I want to send her a card but how can I do that almost a month late!!! Yesterday, when I was creating my Meljen's Release creation for Whimsy, it hit me. I won't send her a birthday card but rather a welcome back to school gift and card. Ariel is just starting her first year of college so I thought a "Care Package" would be nice. I know I enjoyed them when I was in college!!!
Anywho...here is my creation using School Time Bunny designed by Meljen's available at Whimsy stamps. I just think is the sweetest bunny...so I created a bookmark and card with it to send with a few books I bought for Ariel to read in her spare time (yeah right...spare time in her freshmen year of college...LOL! She loves the Take One series by Karen Kingsbury so I had to buy her a few with a bunch of other goodies.)
Here is my card that I colored with copics. I used the Sketch Saturday layout for this past week.
The dp is from October Afternoon Fly a Kite and My Mind's Eye Be Loved. The sentiment is computer generated. I just had to use my new Spellbinders Lacey Circles and Square dies!!
