Happy Saturday Everyone!! I hope you are having a great weekend!! I am actually hoping and praying for rain today. Boy do we ever need it, our grass is brown and our plants are dying. Besides if it rains, I can craft. LOL!

Today I have the Shining the Light Challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs to share with you.

This Week' Challenge:

The team would like you to create a card or project with a
sketch that I created.

To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize , a $ 15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday, July 15. One random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday.

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them.As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award. In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by July 15 at 8 p.m. EST.If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword is ODBDSLC20. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to the challenge.

Here is my take on the challenge:

I used the House Blessings and Our Daily Bread stamp set available at ODBD to create a card for my brother and sister in law who just bought a house. The dp is from Cosmo Cricket. I pleated and sewed the ribbon.

Challenges:

*Little Red Wagon- Nestabilities
*One Stitch At a Time- lace, ribbon, bows
*By the cute and girly-warm summer days
*Ooh La La Creations-simply summer
*Drunken Stampers- Summer Theme
*Lexis- layers
*Creative Card Crew- to Die for
*PIO- favorite things- Cosmo cricket dp!! and sewing
*Incy Wincy-use punches

Thanks for stopping by and for your comments!! Have a great weekend!!

Hi Chris,
This is a beautiful card. I love the different elements you have built in. It's gorgeous.
If you want rain you should be here - it has never stopped since the pop festival started up the road yesterday. It's dismal.
Hugs,
Fiona x
