Happy Sunday Everyone!! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend! Today I have two cards to share with you.The first is for the Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge. This week's challenge host is my dear friend Grace.
Grace chose the verse: Psalm 127:1a "Unless the Lord build the house, they labor in vain who build it".
Have you ever thought I can do this on my own. I don't need anyone's help or guidance. Well we all need His direction in our lives. We need to pray each day that He will guide us down the right paths so we do not stray from His leading. God has a plan for each one of us. Not seeking His guidance is laboring in vain. Life is so much easier (although not easy by any means) with God's guidance.
Grace challenged the team and any of the challenge participants to:
Use an image of something that is "built" using a set of plans ... a house, church, school, automobiles, even a bird house...anything that would be built according to a set of plans.
I decided to use one of my many neglected Stampin Up stamps, Winds of Grace, and make a masculine thinking of you card with a summery feel for a guy who recently lost his father. Most all the materials on this card are Stampin up other than the brown thread and silver baubles.

I created a card using Bernadette Admiring flowers from Stampavie. The Belle Arts Novelty rose and Mandarin cameo roses, Basic Grey Indian Summer Paper, Pink silk ribbon, and Scalloped Edge Frame Nestabilities are also available in the store.

Wow, Chris, my hat is off to you to cover that many challenges!!! You go girl!!! And both of your cards are LOVELY... just as you are. And, you're right... even then life isn't always easy, but truly so much easier when we trust in God and know that he is in charge. The peace that passes all understanding!
