Happy New Year Everyone!!! May the peace and joy of the season be with you and bless you during the upcoming year!!

I am so excited to start the year with a blog hop for Our Daily Bread Designs!! If you came here from Grace's (Th-Ink-ing Of You) blog, you are in the right place, if not you my want to start at the beginning with the ODBD blog. There are prizes along the way.....
We are kicking off the NEW YEAR with the release of three new sets, perfect for Baptisms, Confirmation, and New Baby cards! Three hoppers will be chosen randomly to receive One Set of THEIR CHOICE!

All you have to do to win is:

Complete the hop, leaving comments on each blog. Then return to the ODBD blog to tell us you have visited each blog and left a comment before Jan 4 at 8 p.m. EST.
Just a hint...you may want to keep track of what set is your fave. I think you will be asked to tell what your fave set is in the comments at the ODBD Blog....shhhh The three winners will be announced on Thursday, Jan. 7 at the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog!

Yes, you read that right! You don't want to miss out!! Kelley has decided that not one, not two but THREE Blessed Hoppers will be randomly chosen to receive ONE SET OF THEIR CHOICE!!! So ... grab a cup of coffee or tea and come to the hop with us!

You'll notice several new "bread sticks" in the bread basket . Welcome to Kathy, Dawn, Debi, Julie, America, Sabrina, and Christine!!! We all look forward to your inspiration!!!

Now on to my creation for the hop...I used the Noah's Ark set just released today!! The set is so versatile with this image and verses/sentiments for Baptism or Baby cards! Since I have had several nieces and nephews being born lately, this came at a great time.

I used the color challenge hosted by Betty at Splitcoast Stampers to use So Saffron, Grey, and Really Rust as well as the Van Gogh technique for Monday's Try A Techinique Challenge hosted by Lynn. The image is water colored, cut out and popped up on dimensionals.

stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs: Noah's Ark
Paper: Basic Grey, Very Vanilla, Bitter Chocolate from Bazzill, and Cosmo Cricket-Something Old
Accessories: Martha Stewart doiley lace and arch lattice border punches, Hero Arts medium and small white accent Pearls, hodgepodge hardware, heart charm

This next card I created for the SC262 Sketch at Splitcoast. I used the New Release Confirmation and the flower soft display globe. This is one I have I posted a couple of days ago on SC but thought today was appropriate to share another way this stamp set could be used.

Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs: Confirmation
Paper: SEI -First Kiss Pearl Paper ,Pink, White
Accessories: Flowersoft globe, flower soft-pink, hero arts single pearls, ZVA Creative small flourish pearls, pink satin ribbon, Victoria Embossing folder, silver embossing powder, Martha Stewart Doily Lace Edge Punch

In addition to the hop and the new releases.....

We're also excited to be kicking off the New Year as a new Member Company on Splitcoaststampers! We have many fun things planned including a special thread for prayer requests, every day chit chat and Weekly Challenges beginning in February! These weekly challenges will be announced on the Our Daily Bread designs SCS Forum as well as the ODBD Blog! This means More prizes, awards, and FUN for YOU! More on the challenges soon, so stay tuned for more announcements.... but for now, be sure to check the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog on Jan 9th when our First Weekly Challenge will kick off!

We hope you'll stop by the forum and chat with us!

In fact you may want to stop by the forum soon .....since we will be celebrating our new Member company status, we're giving away a BIG prize!!! If you visit the ODBD Welcome Forum and leave a comment by January 10, you will be entered in a drawing to win a $50.00 Gift Certificate to the ODBD Store!

Now on to the next dt member for the hop: Deb S. at Dream in Color. I know she has lots of inspiration for you!!! Enjoy the blog hop and enjoy your holiday!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and for your sweet comments!!

blessings,
Chris

Wow!!!!!!!! You seem like a person that does 100+% at everything. I am just shocked (in a good way,) that you thought of combinging the SCS challenges in your Noah's Ark, my favorite. The other thing that really blew me away was when I enlarged the photograph...every time I thought I was at the bottom of the artwork, there was another layer, and another and yet another. It drew my eye all over the piece to see what I might have missed. Thanks for sharing your talent with us!
