Welcome to the Oct. ODBD New Release

Hello, All!! Today, the Bread Basket at Our Daily Bread Designs has lots of beautiful projects using the new dies, stamps and papers now available at ODBD!! They really lend themselves to so many creative or even clean and simple projects for Christmas!!!

Three randomly selected winners will each receive a $25 gift certificate to the ODBD Store, to be used toward the purchase of ODBD Stamps found in the "ODBD stamps column" of the website just for commenting on the Design Team cards! You have until October 2, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. EDT to leave your comments on the Designers Blogs for a chance to win! Here is a creation I made for Christmas using the new Christmas Carols stamp set, Flourished Letters stamp set, Delightful Decorations die set, Embellished Elegant dies,and the 2015 Christmas Paper Collection.

I had so much fun layering with the rich regal papers and the addition of gold and black card stock.

The sentiment is from the Christmas Carol stamp set and it is cut out with the ODBD Stitched Ovals die and matted on an oval cut using ODBD Ovals. The layered decorative squares behind it are created using the ODBD Layered Lacey Squares die. The nativity ornament is created using the Delightful Decorations Dies. The remaining ornament is created with the Elegant Embellished dies. The letters going down the side use the Flourished Letters stamp set cut out with ovals dies. The corners are created using gold metallic cardstock and the corner die from the ODBD Fancy Ornaments.

My second creation is a gift box I created.

It uses the Delightful Decorations stamp (for the sentiment) and the Delightful Decorations die set (for the ornaments). The paper used is the 2015 Christmas Paper Collection.

The top circles on the top of the gift box are die cut and matted using the Doily die and Recipe and Tags die. The decorative trim along the top is created the Beautiful Borders die.

Bunny said...: I think the flourished alphabet and the Christmas Carol stamps are my favorite. This card is so nicely layered. The papers are beautiful. Your eye just moves over the entire creation. It's really lovely. The inside looks so pretty it would almost make me not want to write in it. The gift box is another nice creation. The addition of the bells, lace and ribbon are very pretty.
