ODBD Bread Basket

Hello Friends!! It seems like time to post on my blog has become less frequent these days.  Finally this week I feel I can have fun crafting and do some blogging as well as have some R and R time.  This week's work hours will be a little less...at least at the beginning of the week anyway.  It is so fun to be able to spend more time with my darling daughters and do some things I have not had time for lately.

Today I am popping in to share this week's Shining the Light challenge which is to use Our Daily Bread Designs and Spring colors on your creation!!  This is ODBD's 200th challenge!!!!

My creation uses the new stamps and dies to be released at Our Daily Bread Designs on Thursday: Glory, Carried to Heaven, and Vintage Labels dies.  I nested the Vintage Labels in the Vintage Florish Pattern dies released last month.

The outside frame is created with the Majestic Labels 25 dies from Spellbinders.

Sympathy cards are so hard to make but it seems like they are needed so often.  I hope this card inspires a recent widow.

For more inspiration for this challenge, please visit my dt sisters: Linda Carson, Elizabeth Whisson, Diana Nguyen, Cheryl Scrivens, DJ Rants, and Robin Clendenning

To see all the creations in one place or join the challenge, click here.  You have until May 4th to join us. If you participate you have a chance to win a $15 gift certificate toward ODBD stamps or to be spotlighted on the blog.  We would love to see your creations!!

Challenges I am playing in:
Word Art Wednesday

I hope you are in some way inspired by my project!! Thanks for stopping by and for your comments.  I truly appreciated them.

Blessings,

Oh, Chris, congratulations on the 200th challenge, and what a beautiful card to celebrate! I love the soft pink and white with the gold edging...and the sneak peeks of the new sets! Beautifully colored and such lovely font! Absolutely a stunning card that reminds me of spring and morning glories that will be coming soon! Hugs, sweet friend!

I just love this card. Sympathy cards are so difficult to make - this is sure to bring comfort to the recipient.
