Hello Friends!! Fall is just around the corner this week.  Where does the time go.  We still continue to have warm weather and I do look forward to the cooler yet very comfortable temperatures and the changing leaves.

Today I am popping in to share this week's Shining the light challenge at our Daily Bread Designs.  This week's challenge is Fall colors.  Let us see your red, green, yellow, amber, and brown!!!

Here is my creation using Apples and ODBD Custom Decorative Corners dies. I had a blast coloring this image with copics!!  The background is dry embossed with a Square lattice embossing folder and inked over with Tim holtz distress ink.

Other Dies: Spellbinders Classic Ovals Lattice Motifs and Fancy Framed Tags 2
Embossing folder: SU Square lattice textured impressions folder
Other accessories: Gingham Ribbon
Ink: Black Memento and copics, Tim Holtz vintage ink

This is so beautiful, Chris!! Love the warm, natural feel of the background layers. . .such depth an texture and love the contrast between the embossed lattice and the die lattice. Then. . .there are the apples. . .love them apples!! So bright and crisp I can almost smell them! Beautiful work!! Blessings!
