For my creations I used the amazing Cathedral Window Wood, Cathedral Window Marble and the Customized ODBD Cathedral Window and Border Die created by Spellbinders!!! I just love these windows and dies!!
For my first creation, I decided to make a wedding luminary card with the Cathedral Window Wood stamped on vellum with versamark and embossed with copper. It was placed beihnd the die cut Cathedral Window and Border die. The window is cut out so there is nothing behind the vellum and the light of the battery operated light can shine through. The stamped sentiment is created with Sweet William -Small and the Antique Labels and border dies. To create the shudders I cut off the two sides from a second die cut window and adhered them with permanent adhesive. The flourishes are created with the Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish Die. The top of my card is created with the A2 Scalloped Borders one. The background of my card is embossed with a Darice Fleur De Lis embossing folder. The foliage is created with the Martha Stewart twig punch. The little roses are created with the Spellbinders Cherry Blossoms die
My second creation also uses the Customized ODBD Cathedral Window and Border Die, however, it uses the Cathedral Window Marble embossed in copper over vellum to create a Mother's Day card. The background of my card is created with Bridal Bouquet ink and the Darie Fleur De Lis embossing folder ( I brayered the ink on the negative side of the folder before running it through my Grand Caliber. The little roses and branches are created with the Spellbinders Cherry Blossoms die. The background panel behind the window is created with the ODBD Quatrefoil Pattern Die. The bow is created with Becca's peg bow maker and silk ribbon. The sentiment is created with the Happy Mother's Day Stamp set and the Custom Odbd Recipe and Tags die.
Here is a picture of the dies and stamps released today from Our Daily Bread designs which I used on my cards:
Here are two pictures of cards previously posted for sneak peeks using the Fishing Themed stamps sets:
For the card above I used the Stamps: Fishing and The Waves on the Sea. You can find more details by clicking here.
For the second card above, I used The Waves on the Sea, the fish net background, and the Mighty Sea. You can view more details here.
Here are the stamp sets (new release sets) used for these two cards :
I hope you are somehow inspired by my creations!! Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy the hop!!
Have a blessed day!!
