Here are my creations using The Mighty Ocean Stamp set and the It is Well with my Soul Hymn Background:

This card is made with the sketch from last week's Shining the Light challenge and the Mighty Sea stamp set.

Card Recipe:
Stamps: The Mighty Sea from Our Daily Bread Designs
Paper: Basic Grey Boxer, Neenah White, Black, red CS
Accessories: Spellbinders Classic Circles Nestabilities, Spellbinders Scalloped Rectangles, copics, Black flourish pearls, May Arts Black Silk Ribbon

The next two creations are ones I created as sneak peeks over the last week:

The first is one I made using on of my favorite hymns "It is Well with My Soul" that is one of the new releases available as a background stamp.  This hymn reminds me of my grandmother as this was one of her favorites.  The sentiment is from the Mighty Sea stamp set.

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs: Grunge Butterfly Background, It is Well with My Soul background, sentiment from the Mighty Sea
Accessories: turquoise seam binding, lace, pearl stick pin, Recollections crocheted flower, butterfly button, Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish, Martha Stewart Daisy border punch, textile embossing folder.

The next project is one I made for this week's Love Recipe challenge at ODBD using the Might Ocean Stamp set and Beate's Heart Box tutorial at Splitcoast.

Heart Box Recipe:
Paper: Neenah White (110 lb,), Echo Park Dp
Accessories: Spellbinders Heart (Classic and Scalloped), May Arts Satin White Ribbon, Pearl hat pin, Cheery Lynn Fanciful flourish, lace, ruffled ribbon, recycled Prima flowers, Martha Stewart Twig punch, pink pearl beads
Tutorial:  heart box tutorial written by Beate on Splitcoast

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you have enjoyed my creations.  The next step on the hop is to my dear sweet and talent dt sister Sabrina. I know she will have lots of inspiration for you!

Enjoy the hop!

Blessings,

Hi Chris~

You showed a wonderful display of your talents here, Chris! I love the way you colored the seascape and added all of the rich fabric to the first card.

The second card reminded me of my dear Mother-in-Law as soon as I saw it. She was the age of my grandmother. It must be the lace and flower and the blue that reminds us of Grandma's. It is lovely with the music sheet in the background, especially.

I love what you did with the Heart Box. It is beautiful! The delicate flowers, the bow, the way the vine goes off of the box and around it. The pearls add a special touch, I wish I knew how you attached a string of them. The Scripture is beautiful on this.

These are amazing pieces, Chris. I love how you let your creativity flow, and your love for the Lord and others that are dear to you shine through!
