SSCC Whatever works....Faith

Happy Sunday Everyone!! I hope you are all enjoying the weekend! While Friday was very rainy, yesterday was gorgeous!!! The sun was shining, no humidity and some breeze! Gorgeous!! I had fun working with my gardens outside.

Today it is time for another Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge!!

This week's challenge host is Becky.

Becky chose the verse:

James 2:18,19 But someone will say, You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe and tremble.

Today's scripture reminds us that if we are Christians we need to not only say it but show it. It reminds me of the old familiar children's song, "They'll know we are Christian's by our Love."I have often heard from people that people who are Christian's or go to church are the biggest hypocrites. How can this be? How can this be, if we as Christian's are to be an example of God's love? Are you walking the walk or just talking the talk?
True Faith in God is shown by actions that are pleasing to Him and that are Christlike. We are all human and sinners so we are not perfect but this is what we must strive for. How are you letting others know of your love for God? Can they see your faith?

Becky's challenge:

"What works for you" use your favorite item for stamping, it could be a stamp,embossing folder, favorite spellbinder shape.

Here is my take on the challenge:

I love the new Our Daily Bread Designs Small Sweet Williams set and the Basic Grey Sweet Threads paper. The flower is created with gold embossing on pink silk.
