Happy Sunday Everyone! I hope you all are enjoying your weekend! I know I am...lots of family time. We put up our tree yesterday. The girls are just so excited. Nothing like the excitement of a child.
Anywho today it is time for another Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge.
This week's challenge host is the dear and sweet Patti. Patti chose the verse:
Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. ~Ephesians 4:29 NLT
Patti's challenge is:
"A Way with Words". Create a card or project that will compliment, encourage, or cheer someone in need of uplifting.
For my creation, I decided to make a Christmas Thinking of you card for my dear friend Mark who recently lost his wife. Mark will greatly miss Ruby this Christmas and I want to let him know he is consistently in our thoughts and prayers.
I used the You will Find Refuge for the chickadee image and Flourished Christian Symbols set from Our Daily Bread Designs for the sentiment. The designer paper is Basic Grey Curio. This is sort of CAS for me but I think it does better for a guy.

What beautiful coloring on the bird Chris, lovely color choices all around. This will be a tough holiday for your friend, I am sure, and I know you will miss your friend who passed away as well. She will be celebrating her first Christmas in heaven though.
