Happy Tuesday Everyone!! I hope you are all enjoying the holiday week!! I know I am. Spending time with family and friends is something I hold dear. I have not been doing to much crafting but thought I would pop in to share a sneak peak of two of Our Daily Bread Designs new stamp sets and a new die to be released on January 1. I created this bookmark for Cheryl's TLC305 ribbon bookmark challenge at Splitcoast yesterday.
The sets I used are Butterfly Corner, Faith, and the butterfly die from Our Daily Bread Designs which will be released Saturday. The image is colored with copics and cut out with my oval and circle nestabilities from Spellbinders.

I Have Blog Candy until December 26!!!! Click here to see the candy and to see what you need to do to enter!!!!
Happy Hump Day Everyone!! I hope you are all having a great week so far and are further along in your holiday preparations than me. Oh my...the time is flying and I am still running around trying to finish up. Hopefully today I will be done and I can sit back and enjoy the holiday celebrating the true meaning of Christmas.
Anywho...today is another Creative Belli Challenge and the last one for the 2010 year!!! This week the team is challenging you to create a Christmas card! Do you have some last minute cards to make...well here is your chance to enter it in the Belli Challenge. Don't forget to use some of your old and forgotten embellishments and products though.
For my creation, I used the Blessed Christmas stamp set and the Peace and Joy stamp set from Our Daily Bread Designs. I have made so many rectangle or square cards lately, that I wanted to create a different shape this time. So...I created a diamond fold card.
Card recipe:
Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs- Blessed Christmas and Peace and Joy stamp set
Paper: SU Candy cane dp, black and white
Tools: Spellbinders classic circles, Spellbinders Lacey circles, Spellbinder lacey squares, Snowflakes embossing folder, Labels 4 die, EK Success border punch
Embellies: ZVA Creative pearls, glitter, silver baubles, lace, white satin ribbon from May Arts

Happy Sunday Everyone!! Are you enjoying the holiday preparations? I made some headway over the weekend...but still have lots to do. Today is our Sunday school and I am so excited to watch the girls and the other children perform and celebrate the nativity and the true reason for Christmas. And....as the Sunday School Superintendent, that will be one more accomplishment behind me that I can check off. Woo hoo!!
Anywho...enough about my life...on to today's Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge. Today's hostess is the sweet and talented Peggysue.
Peggysue chose the verse:
Micah 5:2 "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me the One to be Ruler in Israel, whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting."
At this Christmas season are you reflecting on the true gift. The gift of God's son....a baby...being sent to save us. What greater gift is there than that!! How amazing that God will use a little babe born in humble stable to be our King and Saviour!! Thanks be to God for this GIFT!! In the busyness of the holiday don't forget to reflect on the greatest gift of all and the true meaning of Christmas!
Challenge: Create a card using inchies!
For this weeks challenge to use inchies...I decided to go easy peasy or CAS...like many of you I am uber busy and do not have a lot of time to spend on creations. Funny thing is...I love how it turned out and I hope you do to.
For my creation I used inchie circles and the head of the Whimsy Cozy Little Snowman designed by Meljen's. The snowflakes are from the SU Bundle Up. The sentiment is from Blessed Christmas from Our Daily Bread Designs. I used the Scalloped Frame die from Spellbinders for the border. And Ski slope paper for the dp.
For more inspiration, please visit my dt sisters:
Grace, Linda, Lisa, Peggysue, Randi, Meisje, Rebecca, and Patti
For the full devotional and challenge details please visit the Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge.
Our sponsor this week is Our Daily Bread designs.
The prize is a $15.00 Gift Certificate!
Interested in some blog candy?!!!!!!
Lacey has generously donated blog candy to each of the Stamp and Create team members to offer to their followers on their blog. Vicky currently has blog candy!!! Hi Everyone!! I am so excited I can't contain it!!
Whimsy Stamps have some fab news to share with you today - we have a new rubber artist joining our team.... KENNY KIERNAN!
As many of you will know, Kenny K is currently a digital stamp artist (amongst many other things) and although Whimsy will not be carrying any Kenny K digis, we are making some of Kenny's existing designs into rubber and then hopefully adding some new designs along the line that will be exclusive to the Whimsy rubber collection!
So to celebrate this wonderful new venture, the Whimsy Stamps DT plus our fab special Whimsy guests Elaine Hughes, Deb, and Janna, are holding a BLOG HOP to showcase the EIGHT images that are being made into rubber:
Remember that Whimsy Stamps will be carrying the rubber versions of these stamps only. Kenny K will continue to offer the digital versions in his store. The rubber stamps are available to PRE-ORDER from today from the Whimsy store, and will hopefully be in stock and start shipping after the holidays!
Our super-talented Ann (Raindrop Echo Designs) has designed some wonderful digital sentiments that work fabulously with these images - thank you Ann! These are also being released today!
If you would like to participate in the hop and you didn't arrive here from Marley van der Heijden 's blog, please CLICK HERE to return to the beginning of the hop at Simonne's blog.
The hop starts today (Thursday December 16th at noon EST) and ends on Thursday December 23rd at noon EST.
For this hop we have 4 different prize draws! The grand prize of ALL 8 of the new release rubber stamps is being hosted by Denise at the very end of the hop, but there are also 3 mini candy stops throughout the hop! I'm not going to tell you where they are, so you'll just have to keep on hopping to find them! *wink* [Winners will be announced on December 23rd after the hop ends - what a wonderful Christmas present for those lucky hoppers!]
Now for my blog hop creation...
or should I say creations...I used two images because they are so different than my normal style it was so fun breaking from the norm and these images were so fun to color!!!
The first uses the ever so fun Download Diva!! I colored her with copics. The paper just seemed so perfect with this image. It is from DCWV Music. I don't usually use bright colors but I just love bright colors with these particular images. Since there were instruments in the background and I did not want to cover them up in my layout, I chose to add a banner instead of panels. The letters were punched with a Martha Stewart Alphabet punch.
Challenges:
Craft Your Days Away (2 weeks) - punches or die cuts
Crafty Emma - anything but a christmas card
Sweet Stampin (2nd card) - 3 DP, 3 embellishments(gold baubles, brads, ribbon), 1 image
Creative Card Crew - Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday - For a kid (Teenager works right?)
The Crazy Challenge - at least 3 design papers (2nd card)
Studio 313 #4 - Sparkle & Bling,
One Stitch At A Time #43 - Anything Goes.
Stampin Fairy- glitter - 1st card (dp is full of it)
Crafty Sentiments : Anything goesSo now it's time for you to continue the hop by hopping on over to Vanja Stevanovic's blog where I know she has something amazing to show you!
Finally, here is a complete blog hop list in hopping order:

As many of you will know, Kenny K is currently a digital stamp artist (amongst many other things) and although Whimsy will not be carrying any Kenny K digis, we are making some of Kenny's existing designs into rubber and then hopefully adding some new designs along the line that will be exclusive to the Whimsy rubber collection!
So to celebrate this wonderful new venture, the Whimsy Stamps DT plus our fab special Whimsy guests Elaine Hughes, Deb, and Janna, are holding a BLOG HOP to showcase the EIGHT images that are being made into rubber:
All That
Devilish Donna
Download Diva
Kitty Katastrophe
Luscious Linda
Movie Star
Rock Chick
Troublemaker

My Second Creation uses the fun Rock Chick image. The sentiment is one of the sentiments created by Ann as a digi!! The music background on one of the panels uses Whimsy's Music Notes (also designed by Ann). The designer paper is from K& Co. Brenda Walton Peppermint stick and some K& Co Valentine paper. The musical notes are brads. The different panel shaped panels are created with the Labels 14 Spellbinders die and Spellbinders hearts.
Challenges:
Craft Your Days Away (2 weeks) - punches or die cuts
Crafty Emma - anything but a christmas card
Sweet Stampin (2nd card) - 3 DP, 3 embellishments(gold baubles, brads, ribbon), 1 image
