Happy Monday Everyone!! I hope you all enjoyed the weekend!!  It was such a crisp fall weekend.  The temps were in the 50's here.  The leaves are just starting to turn colors.  How beautiful this time of year is...no more 100 degree weather or humidity. Woohoo!!

Anywho...today I have a new Stamp and Create Spotlight for you...This week the spotlight is angels and fairies at the Stamp and Create store.  Since they are the spotlight...that means they are 25% off!!!

This week is also a new monthly challenge!!  Stamp and Create's challenge is to use Pink on your creation and angels or fairies.  Why pink....because it is cancer awareness month and we want to remember the many who have been inflicted with this horrible disease.

You must use a NEW card (no back linking please), and you can enter up to once a week. You are welcome to enter cards, tags, scrapbook layouts, 3-D projects, etc. You may use any stamp...it does not need to be a stamp Stamp and create carries.
The prize this week is a $20 gift certificate to Stamp and Create

Here is my take on the challenge and product Spotlight.

My mother in law, grandmother, grandfathers, an uncle, and a few friends died from this disease so this is a month that I really reflect on those I lost.  I also have some dear friends currently inflicted with this disease.  With this in mind, I decided to make this prayer journal for one of my dear friends, Ruby who is really fighting this disease. She is currently bed ridden and her daughter gets married this coming weekend.  This is very sad for her and I pray that she will be able to at least make her wedding.  I hope this book gives her some comfort.  I used the Say a Prayer Image from Wags n Whiskers and the coaster board label mini album available in the store to create it.  I also used Green at heart and Indian Summer from Basic Grey, and Pink Silk ribbon.  The inside includes comforting verses from Our Daily Bread Designs Scripture 1 and 2 collection.

Challenges:
Stamptacular - Layer It On
The Creative Cottage #24 - bling
Paper Sundaes #38 - something from your stash
Catch The Bug  - Anything goes
 Incy Wincy - Sparkly glitter
Michelle Perkett- Girlie and Bling
Gingerloft-Glitter and Bling
Flutterby Wednesday-Sparkle and shimmer and an angel butterfly or fairy
Pollycraft Monday- Anything goes
Alphabet Challenge- w is for wings
Stamp Insanity- metal (my ribbon pin)

For more inspiration using fairies or angels available at Stamp and Create for 25% off or the pink and angels/ fairies challenge, please visit my talented dt sisters:  Joy, Lacey, Heidi, Vicky and  Jeanette.
I hope you enjoyed my creation today!! Thanks for stopping by today and for leaving a comment.  I so appreciate you!!
