Good Morning! It was nice to celebrate Christmas with the other side of our family this weekend after it had been postponed several times due to the weather. As it turns out, they were here on Saturday, the day of Scott and I's 11th Wedding Anniversary. They gave us some gift cards to go out for dinner. Hopefully we will use them soon. We still have gift cards from last year! lol!
Today we are back to a routine. My husband is back to work and I am back to homeschooling the girls and yes STAMPING! YEAH!!!
Here is a card that I made using the Lift Up Your Hands set from Our Daily Bread designs that I made for Splitcoaststampers challenge WT199 (adding something silver to your cards). The silver in my card is a silver ribbon trim. I used the in color inks from Stampin Up - Baja Breeze and Pacific Point. They are some of my favorite colors. To me they look so soft. The peony is inked, layered, and glittered to add dimension and sparkle. The words are stamped in Pacific Point. The entire card is sewn. The four squares in the background are dry embossed.
Card Recipe:
stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs- Lift Up Your Hands, Stampin Up- Pretty Peony-RETIRED
Paper: Stampin up Ski Slope, Baja Breeze textured cardstock, Taken with Teal Textured Cardstock
Ink: Baja Breeze, Pacific Point, Taken with Teal
Accessories: pearls, silver trim, Ribbon Bowtique Ribbon (Sheer Blue with silver trim), blue green thread, square nestabilities, Label one nestabilities, glitter, Cuttlebug Swirls and Flowers Embossing Folders
Hope you enjoyed today's card! Don't forget to hop over to Dina's blog for some birthday bash give aways. Today she will be giving away stamps from Our Daily Bread Designs. For more cards designed with this new release Lift Up Your Hands, please visit the blogs posted on this site from the other Our Daily Bread designs Design Team.
Have a great day! Hopefully, tomorrow, I will have another card to share with you. I am dying to use the prisma color pencils my hubby got me for Christmas! Yeah!
