ODBD Bread Basket

Tuesday, January 6, 2009
I hope everyone had a great day. I am ready to get also nestled in our house as we are expecting another ice/snowstorm here. Making this card reminded that Spring will be here before we all know it! (I know I am a little ahead of myself since winter just began. Just trying to be optimistic.)

Today's card is made with the newly released stamp "He is Risen" by Our Daily Bread Designs. This set is so versatile and I love it. I decided to go with a soft springy look for this card. I used baroque burgundy to accompany the pink for the cross and writing. The flowers are hand crocheted and I dyed them in the burgundy. The leaves are made of green ribbon. Of course, I also had to add more pearls and gold baubles.

CARD RECIPE

Stamps: Our Daily Bread- He is Risen
Paper: Basic Grey- Sugared, Pearlescent pink Bazill, Baroque Burgundy SU

Accessories: Pearls, gold baubles, crocheted flowers, reinkers, cuttlebug and floral embossing folder, brown craft string, green ribbon, pink thread, nestabilities, fiskars corner punch, pink ribbon (sheer with gold trim)

Tomorrow I hope to share a card I am making with a fun Penny Black stamp. Have a great evening!
