- Hi! I am Chris, also known as Glowbug on Splitcoaststampers. I live in Appomattox, VA. I so much enjoy blogging and the so many good friendships that have formed as a result. During my free time, I am creating cards or projects and I so enjoy Challenges. I have a very supportive husband, Scott, who understands my addiction and two young daughters,Meghan, 9 and Nicki, 12 years of age, who can't wait to get their hands on my stamps and embellishments. I was an elementary school teacher until my youngest was born. I have now been blessed with the opportunity to teach my two girls at home. I use stamping as a hobby or way to escape.

For my project today... I decided to make a gift set including a set of gift cards, a card, and a gift box with Yankee Candle Tarts using the new stamp set Hyacinth and the Quatrefoil Pattern and Quatrefoil Label Dies released today at Our Daily Bread Designs.
First, is the card using a periwinkle blue background layered with the Quatrefoil Pattern Die, the Quatrefoil Label die, and the Hyacinth stamp set. The sentiment is stamped on the Spellbinders Ribbon Banners.
Next is a gift box I created to hold tart candles. The box uses the Quatrefoil Label die for the shape of the window and the Quatrefoil Pattern on the inside. The embossing folder is from Darice.
And Lastly, are Thank You cards. The shape and top layer of my Thank You cards use the Quatrefoil Label die. I then colored and cut out part of the image from the Hyacinth stamp set to adhere in the center. This set also includes several sentiments to fit in the banner.
Here is a photo of a sneak peek I created with the Finch Collage. You can see the details on my card here.

Hi all!! Just popping in to wish all my blogging friends a Happy and Blessed Easter!! What a joyful day to remember that our Lord died for us and is Risen!!! There is no greater gift!!
I always have felt the time of year for celebrating Easter is so appropriate with all the new life that begins. It is irony that we receive new life in Him if we believe and all nature shows new life at the same time of year. I so love Spring!!!
Today I would like to share two creations.
For my first card, For my card I used the stamp sets Quote Collection 3 , Antique Label Designs, Words of Faith , and the Tulip tag set from Our Daily Bread Designs.
The dies used include ODBD Antique Labels and Borders , Spellbinders- ovals, Resplendent Rectangles and Jumbo Scallops.
The embossing folder on the Border is Stampin Up Tulip Border.

My second creation is a sneak peek of the Our Daily Bread Designs Hyacinth stamp set as well as the Quatrafoil Label dies that will be released on Monday, April 1. I made a set of 8 gift cards/tags, however, I am sharing only a few of them since there are only 4 different designs. The shape of the Quatrefoil Label is beautiful and I keep on thinking of more I can use them for!!
I hope you are having a great weekend and that you will have a blessed Easter!!
Thanks for stopping by!! I would love you to leave a comment so I knew you were here.

Welcome to Our Daily Bread Design's Alumni Team's last bi-monthly For the Love Blog Hop. Beginning next month Our Daily Bread Designs will continue to have the Alumni team share their creations but it will not be a hop. This week the Alumni team along with some of the ODBD designers are featuring a hop For the Love of Crosses! Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, each stop will have a full list of links. One of the posts is a hop hot spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to win a $15 ODBD store gift certificate. So, all you have to do is hop along and see all the creations and leave a little love! You have until Wednesday, April 10th, at 6 pm. Enjoy all the beautiful designs featuring For the Love of Crosses!
Since Easter is on it's way, what better time to share crosses, a symbol of what the true meaning of what Easter is all about.
If you arrived here from Connie's blog, you are in the right place, if not, you may want to start at the beginning so you do not miss any of the inspiration or a chance to win.

The egg in the background is one I made out of wood using Words of Faith and Happy Spring/Pussy Willow and Egg for a centerpiece at Easter.
