ODBD Bread Basket

Tuesday, December 29, 2015
Hello, Friends!! It is hard to believe Christmas is over!! It seems like just yesterday that we were anticipating Christmas and now it is over and is almost the new year!!  I love this time of year, though, where we can travel and spend time with family and friends from back in NY!! It is definitely a time to treasure!!

Today I am popping in to share a card I created for the Anything goes with ODBD stamps challenge.  I challenged myself to make a masculine card.  I just love this tractor image!!

Our Daily Bread Designs, Plough the Fields, Ovals, Stitched Ovals, designed by Chris Olsen

ODBD Stamps Used: Plough the Fields
ODBD Dies Used: Ovals, Stitched Ovals

For more inspiration for this challenge, please visit my dt sisters: Paula, Robin and Diana!  You have until January 2 to join the challenge and link your creation here for a chance to be spotlighted or to win a $15 gift certificate toward stamps!

Happy 2016!!  May God bless you in the coming year!!

I had the wrong link for your name!! Glad I found it on FB and changed it!
This card is so cool masculine it just screams guy!! Love the total distress look even though it is quite opposite of your usual lovely feminine creations! Guys need cards too! It is so hard for me to do! Heehee!!
Love the zig zag stitching and the burlap!! The tractor is certainly guy but your accessories have really stepped it up a notch!
Love you sweet friend! Hope you are having a wonderful Christmas season!

Oh, Chris, what a wonderful masculine card, and I love the burlap and the fabulous tractor image you've colored so perfectly. And I do love the distressed feel with the embossing and the zig-zag stitching! It's fabulous. Hugs, sweet friend, and I wish you and your family a blessed and happy new year!

This is a wonderful departure from what you normally do and I like it so much!!! It feels like the old barn isn't far away! Love how you used the burlap too! I will miss you!!!
