Hello, Friends!! I hope you are all doing well!! As time keeps fleeting by so does my preparations for Christmas!! It is hard to believe that in less than 2 months, Christmas will be here!!
I have made a gift card holder for this week's Double Embossing ODBDSLC260- Heat and Dry Embossing challenge at ODBD!!
I was inspired by a gift card holder I got from my dear friend, Grace, last Christmas. I used a similar design with the pocket in the middle but added an additional pocket for my bookmark.
We would love to have you join us for the challenge!! You have until Nov 1 at 8 pm EST to add your creation to the links at ODBD here. Anyone may join with any stamps on the first creation, but the second creation must use ODBD stamps. For more details on how to win a $15 gift certificate or to be spotlighted, click here.
Ephesians 2:8 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God.
Thanks for stopping by!! Have a blessed day!! Thanks for your comments. They are so appreciated!!

Chris
I have made a gift card holder for this week's Double Embossing ODBDSLC260- Heat and Dry Embossing challenge at ODBD!!
I was inspired by a gift card holder I got from my dear friend, Grace, last Christmas. I used a similar design with the pocket in the middle but added an additional pocket for my bookmark.
Here are individual pictures with more of a close up:
Front created with embossed blue snowflakes using the ODBD Snowflake Background, Delightful Decorations stamps and coordinating Die, as well as the ODBD Circle Ornaments dies. The circle was dry embossed with a Darice Lattice Embossing folder.
This is the inside with the pocket in the middle sticking out so you can see the back and front of the inside pages. It uses the Snowflake Background for the snowflakes you see on the background as well as on the bookmark. The bookmark is embossed with holographic embossing powder. The sentiment is from the Peaceful Deer Stamp set recently released. It is cut out and matted using the Antique Labels die. The pocket is created using the Leafy Edged Border die. The pocket itself is dry embossed.
The bookmark is created using the Bookmark die at ODBD using silver metallic paper. The snowflakes are created with the Snowflake Background. The entire background is embossed in holographic glitter so it really sparkles in real life. The ornament at the top is created with the Tree Trimming Trio die.
Gift Card Recipe:
Stamps Used: Snowflake Background, Delightful Decorations, Peaceful Deer
Dies Used: Delightful Decorations, Tree Trimming Trio, Circle Ornaments, Leafy Edged Borders, Antique Labels, Bookmark Die

Hello, friends!! I hope you are all enjoying the week and all is well!! Time certainly seems to be fleeting and fall is definitely here, you can just feel it in the air and the mornings are colder and darker!!
Today I am popping it to share another card that I made for the inspiration challenge at ODBD....a Christmas card that I really had a fun time creating with my ODBD ornament stamps and dies.
Our Daily Bread Designs Card Recipe:
Stamps: Elegant Embellishments, Christmas Carols, Snowflake background
Dies: Elegant Embellishments, Flourished Star Pattern, Elegant Ovals, Stitched Ovals, Ovals, Splendorous Stars
This card is just full of glimmer and sparkle as the ornaments are embossed in gold or holographic glitter and then the embossing resist technique was used. They are created using the Elegant Embellishments stamps and Elegant Embellishments dies. The white background is cut from glitter paper using the Flourished Star Pattern and just sparkles in real life. I just love the blue, gold and white together. The gold behind the Flourished star pattern is dry embossed as well.
Here is the inspiration photo

Hello, Friends!! Happy Hump Day!!
Today I wanted to pop in and share a gift set I created with the new Christmas candle dies released at Our Daily Bread Designs tomorrow!!! I just love these candles and I can see so many creations that can be created with it.
Earlier this week I shared the ornament. Today I would like to share the matching card I created with lots of glimmer and sparkle.
The dies were cut in gold and then I ran the die through a few more times in green and red to fill in the gold with the colors. In this set there are additional holly leaves and berry that I cut out to give more dimension to my foliage. The pinecones are created using the pinecone from the Fancy Foliage die.
The background of the card is created using the Flourished Star Pattern die. The sentiment is from the Perfect Light stamp set to be released tomorrow. It is cut out and framed with the Stitched Ovals and Ovals dies and layered on the Beautiful Borders dies.
Here is a close up of the card in different types of lighting. The first shows the glimmer and gold and the second shows the sentiment etc. clearer.
Thanks for stopping by and for your comments!

Again, as posted 2 days ago, here is a photo of my ornament:
I used the new Christmas Candles dies to be released on Thursday!! What fun dies!!
The pine cones added to the holly foliage are from the Fancy Foliage dies. The candle itself is layered on circles and fancy and more intricate layer cut by the Doily die. The ornament itself before my embellishing was a 3D heavy cardboard ornament purchased from Michaels.
Have a blessed day!!

Hello, Friends!! I hope this post finds you all well!! For many in the USA it was a holiday weekend (at least for the school kids or the USA mail). It was the first weekend in a LONG time that my husband did not have to work!! What a blessing!! We were finally able to get to things around the house that he had not had time to get to when working so much over-time. God is good!! It was a great weekend!!
Well, on to a card I would like to share that I made using the sketch challenge at the ODBD Shining the Light challenge!! I used some sneak peek dies and stamps that will be released on Thursday!!
Love the Merry Mosaic dies that match with the Peaceful Poinsettia dies that were previously released last year!! I layered the Merry Mosaic dies (cut in white) on top of blue poinsettias cut with the Peaceful Poinsettia dies. The Leaves and foliage are cut using silver metallic cardstock. The sentiment is from the Peaceful Deer stamp set to be released on Thursday!
The border of the card is created with the Flourished Star Pattern.

Believe it or not, Christmas is just around the corner!! Time is just flying by!! I can't believe it is almost half way through October already!!! A little over 2 months and Christmas is here. I know it is a busy time of year but I just love celebrating the true meaning of Christmas, celebrating the Savior's birth!!
Matthew 1:21
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Luke 2:11
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
Acts 4:12
And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.
What a gift!! What peace!!

Hello friends!! I hope you all are enjoying the holiday weekend!! For some, Columbus Day means a day off for others it means same old routine, like usual. It is a beautiful sunny fall day here today, so no matter whether you are at work or at home it is a beautiful day none the less.
With Fall here now, the holidays are quickly approaching. I know I personally try very hard to get things done early to alleviate some of the busyness of the season. It never seems to work, but I try .....
Today I am sharing an ornament that I created that I plan to use as a gift topper tag. It makes a perfect small gift but an even better embellishment for a gift.
The other side is a sentiment that says May the Light and Hope of the Savior's Birth be with you today and always.
My last creation is a CAS creation I made using the Adore Him die...
I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!!! Thanks for stopping by and for your kind comments. I so enjoy reading them!!

Hello Friends!! I hope all is well!! It amazes me that it is already October, another month has flown by!! It will be Christmas before we know it!! Yikes! It is time to do some of that holiday crafting!!
Today I am sharing a Christmas card I created for this week's Shining the Light Color Challenge. It is all about the metallics. There is nothing more glamorous or elegant, in my humble opinion, than adding silver or gold to those Christmas cards.
Here is my creation using the Tree Trimming Trio dies and stamps as well as the sentiment from Elegant Embellishments. The sentiment is framed with a Spellbinders Oval and ODBD Elegant Ovals. The gold border of the card is cut out from ODBD Flourished Star Pattern die. The background is embossed using the Sizzix Holly Branch and Pine Branch Embossing Folder.
ODBD Stamps Used: Elegant Embellishments, Tree Trimming Trio
ODBD Dies Used: Tree Trimming Trio, Elegant Ovals, Flourished Star Pattern
Other Supplies: Holographic embossing powder, gold metallic thread and paper, Sizzix Holly Branch and Pine Branch Embossing Folder
Here is the color challenge for ODBDSLC257
We hope you can join us for the challenge. You have until October 11 at 8pm EST to add your creation to the linky at ODBD here. By participating in the challenge, you may have a chance to win a $15 gift certificate toward stamps or to be spotlighted (if you have used ODBD stamps). We look forward to seeing your creations.

Here is a creation I made for Christmas using the new Christmas Carols stamp set, Flourished Letters stamp set, Delightful Decorations die set, Embellished Elegant dies, and the 2015 Christmas Paper Collection.
I had so much fun layering with the rich regal papers and the addition of gold and black card stock.
The sentiment is from the Christmas Carol stamp set and it is cut out with the ODBD Stitched Ovals die and matted on an oval cut using ODBD Ovals. The layered decorative squares behind it are created using the ODBD Layered Lacey Squares die. The nativity ornament is created using the Delightful Decorations Dies. The remaining ornament is created with the Elegant Embellished dies. The letters going down the side use the Flourished Letters stamp set cut out with ovals dies. The corners are created using gold metallic cardstock and the corner die from the ODBD Fancy Ornaments.
Here is a photo of the inside of the card Using ODBD Fancy Ornaments and Delightful Decorations dies as well as the Leafy Edged Borders.
My second creation is a gift box I created.
It uses the Delightful Decorations stamp (for the sentiment) and the Delightful Decorations die set (for the ornaments). The paper used is the 2015 Christmas Paper Collection.
The top circles on the top of the gift box are die cut and matted using the Doily die and Recipe and Tags die. The decorative trim along the top is created the Beautiful Borders die.
Here are the dies, stamps, and papers used from this release:
