ODBD Bread Basket

Wednesday, July 1, 2015
Hello, Friends!! Welcome to the July ODBD New Release!! The team has lots of inspiration in store for you with a variety of beautiful stamp sets and dies!!

Three randomly selected winners will each receive a $25 gift certificate to the ODBD store, to be used toward the purchase of ODBD stamps found in the "stamps column" of the website just for commenting on the Design Team cards!  You have until July 2, 2015, at 9 p.m. EDT to leave your comments on the designers blogs for a chance to win!! The winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on July 3rd, so be sure to check back there to see if you won!  For more details about the release, please visit this post at the ODBD blog.

I had so much fun playing with the new sets: Blossom and Fragrance!!  For my first card, I used the Fragrance image and the sentiment from Blossom that I matted on the Vintage labels Dies.  The image panel is framed with the Layered Lacey Squares die. The background of my card is created using the embossing resist technique on the Anna Griffin Poppy Embossing Folder.

My second creation uses the single rose bud from the Blossom stamp set and the sentiment from Fragrance matted or cut out with ODBD Elegant Ovals. The background is embossed with the Goosebumps lattice embossing folder.

Here is a photo of the stamps and die sets used from ODBD:

I hope you have enjoyed my creations!!  For more inspiration for the release, please visit my dt sisters: Cathy, Julie, Sandee, Silke, Dawn, Grace, America, Lisa, Amy, Lori, Angie, and Sabrina

Thanks for your visit and comments!! Have a blessed day!!

Gorgeous cards, Chris. I like the simplicity of the second one with those pretty blue rose buds. The positioning of the roses in the first one really frames the sentiment & makes it stand out.
