ODBD Bread Basket

Tuesday, March 3, 2015
Hello Friends!! I hope all is well!!  I hope you are all warm and safe....a couple more weeks until it is Spring here (at least by date).  Only one month until Easter!!  I am so ready not only for Spring flowers and the warmer weather.  We have had so much snow in the last few weeks.

As we approach Easter, I know I reflect on how blessed I am to have a Savior who gave His life for me not for my works but by grace alone I am saved because I believe and have faith  and trust in Him.  If it were for works, I would be sunk!!!  I am by no means perfect.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son.  John 3:16

Today's card uses the colors for the color challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs which is pastels.  I went with the light blue, light purple, and green.  My colors are a tad bit brighter but that was the closest I could get.

Our Daily Bread Designs, The Lord is Risen, Basket of Blessings, Happy Resurrection Day, Mini Tag dies, Beautiful Borders die, grass dies, designed by Chris Olsen, amethyst Victorian pen, Chiselinknmore, Etsy

ODBD Dies Used: Mini TagGrass BorderBeautiful Borders

The pen is one my hubby made to sell.  We are offering this pen on sale at our Etsy store.  We have marked down the price on this Pen as a special from $49.95 to $35.  All proceeds go to a mission trip for our daughters in June.  You can see it here.

Beautiful card. Really like the colors you used. Also, even with a bit of frill to it, the colors lend well to a card for a gentleman.
