ODBD Bread Basket

Tuesday, December 2, 2014
Hello Friends!!  It is December!! Can you believe it!! Christmas is less than 4 weeks away!  Yikes!!

Today I am popping in to share a card I made for this week's Shining the Light challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs which is to create a Christmas card with ODBD stamps!!  Easy peasy right?

For my creation I created a die cut scene with the new Gilded Gate dies, Mini Tags dies, Fancy Foliage Die (prior release), and the Let It Snow  and Mini tag sentiment stamps.

May we share the good news and joy of the true meaning of Christmas not only with our joyful spirit but our love for those God puts in our path.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

I hope you have enjoyed my take on the inspiration.  Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you enjoy my creation!! For more inspiration for this challenge, please visit my dt sisters: Cheryl ScrivensDJ RantsDiana NyugenRobin ClendenningLinda Carson, and Elizabeth Whisson.

To see all the challenge in one place, click here.  You have until December 14 to  join in. We would love to see your creations!!

Blessings,

Chris

Oh Chris I love the crisp clean feel to this card... yet it's not simple at all!!! Love the little evergreens in your "garden" beyond the fence and your beautiful details! Love the red and white with touches of green! Eye popping!!!

hugs,
Grace

Gorgeous card - you have quite the stash of embossing folders and you use them so well! Love the scene you made - like Grace said, crisp and clean but beautifully detailed. Praying for you today - hope you are getting better daily!

Oh, Chris, another gorgeous card! And I love how you've used this new gate/fence! Absolutely stunning with the foliage with the tag, cord, and red tag! And I love the "welcoming" sign you have with the twine! Definitely puts me in the mood for welcoming the Christmas season, a time to enjoy friends and family and also to remember how precious this time of year is as we recall why Jesus came and what He has done for us...something we could not do for ourselves! Thanks for sharing another beautiful card, my amazing friend! You always delight and surprise!! Warm hugs!
