Happy Tuesday all!! I hope everyone is well and enjoying their summer.  Unfortunately we all caught a summer virus that threw us through the ringer or a loop for the last two weeks.  Today I am finally starting to feel a bit better.

I can't believe how the summer is flying.  Next week is Father's Day and soon there after is July 4th.  Where does the time go!!!

In celebration of Father's Day the challenge team at the Shining the Light challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs is challenging our viewers/ players to make a masculine or Father's Day card.  That is a real challenge for me since when I think of masculine, I think kind of plain.

I decided to make a masculine patriotic card using Some Gave All and Home of the Free from Our Daily Bread Designs.

Greater Love has no one than this that He lay down his Life for his Friends. John 15:13.

I want to thank all our service men and women and there families for the sacrifice they make each day for America's freedom!!  I am especially grateful for our freedom of religion where we can worship the true and living God.  This is not a freedom to take lightly as I see so many of our freedoms lessening or becoming stripped away by our government each day.

Thank you Lord for your greatest sacrifice of them all ...that you died for me so I may some day live with you in eternity!!

Oh, it's been so cold and wet here, I feel like we've hadn't even had Spring and now the Fourth of July is almost here. I hope the season slows down a bit so I can enjoy it. Beautiful Patriotic card!

This is so beautiful Chris, and such a lovely tribute.

I'm sorry that I haven't been visiting much or participating in contests, but we've been moving my mother to Maine full time and cleaning out her house in Massachusetts for months. It's been really hectic!

All the new ODBD stamps are gorgeous, I can't wait to send for all the ocean ones!
