ODBD Bread Basket

Tuesday, February 5, 2013
Hello Friends!! I hope you all are doing well!!  It is always amazing to me how fast time goes!!  It is already February!!! and with February comes Valentine's Day.  While it is not really a holiday, I do think it is important to acknowledge or show others how much we care!  No harm can come from Warm Fuzzies matter how commercialized it has become.

With Valentine's in mind, the challenge team at our Daily Bread Designs wants to share some love with some of those artists or crafters out there that we admire with this week's Shining the Light challenge:

This week's challenge is:
Be a Secret Admirer!! Case a card of any designer you admire. It does not need to be an ODBD Designer. Link the card you cased within your post.
 For my creation, I am
Casing my sweet sister stick and dear friend: Angie Crockett.
Angie is not only sweet but God has truly blessed her with talent!!  I truly treasure you Angie!!!

Here is my creation!!!

There is no dp on my creation, just black stamping on white with some slight coloring on the daisies with a black frame.  The Tree bookmarks (sentiment from Bookmark Verses are cut out with the customized bookmarks available at ODBD.

Chris, This is such a wonderful CASE of Angie's beautiful card. Fabulous subtle coloring and matching elements make this a great design and I love that it's also functional!! Soft and sweet, and just wonderful.

Oh my - at first glance I wouldn't have realised there was no DP! I hadn't realised before that the bookmark coordinated so perfectly with the lovely daisy background. Love the chalkboard card too - one of those sets is definitely top of my wishlist next time I put an order in.
