Hello Friends!! I hope you all are doing well!! It is always amazing to me how fast time goes!! It is already February!!! and with February comes Valentine's Day. While it is not really a holiday, I do think it is important to acknowledge or show others how much we care! No harm can come from Warm Fuzzies ...no matter how commercialized it has become.
With Valentine's in mind, the challenge team at our Daily Bread Designs wants to share some love with some of those artists or crafters out there that we admire with this week's Shining the Light challenge:
This week's challenge is:
Be a Secret Admirer!! Case a card of any designer you admire. It does not need to be an ODBD Designer. Link the card you cased within your post.
For my creation, I am
Casing my sweet sister stick and dear friend: Angie Crockett.
Angie is not only sweet but God has truly blessed her with talent!! I truly treasure you Angie!!!
Here is my creation!!!
There is no dp on my creation, just black stamping on white with some slight coloring on the daisies with a black frame. The Tree bookmarks (sentiment from Bookmark Verses) are cut out with the customized bookmarks available at ODBD.
ODBD Stamp sets Used: Daisy Background, Bookmarks Trees, Bookmarks Verses
ODBD Dies Used: Bookmark Dies
Accessories: Black Seam Binding, markers
Casing my sweet sister Stick: Angie Crockett
pictures of sets used:
Jan Marie Ennenga, Audrey Hiltke, Cathy McCauley, Diana Nguyen
Kathy Roney, and special guest Becky Egecrone
To see all the creations in one place or join the challenge, click here.
You have until February 10th to join us. You do not have to use an
ODBD stamp to join in, but we would love to see them if you have them.
Plus....your card will only be featured in the top 3 if you use ODBD
stamps. Anyone, however, has a chance to win the $15 certificate toward
ODBD stamps.
We would love to see your creations.

Kelley, has some really beautiful Chalkboard sets available!! The creation, I am sharing with you today is from the set called Chalkboard- The Johns which includes two verses from the apostle John.
The layout on my card uses a sketch from Splitcoast: SC421. The designer paper is from Bo Bunny Little Miss Collection. The bow is tied with Becca's Peg Bowmaker.
Thanks for stopping by!! Have a great day!!

Chris, This is such a wonderful CASE of Angie's beautiful card. Fabulous subtle coloring and matching elements make this a great design and I love that it's also functional!! Soft and sweet, and just wonderful.
Hugs,
