ODBD Bread Basket

Tuesday, January 8, 2013
Happy Tuesday Friends!! I hope this post finds you all well!!  Today I am back to share a challenge creation for Our Daily Bread Designs.  After a two week challenge, the Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light team is back to their regular schedule for challenges!!!

Today is something fun that I think most will be able to play!! This week's challenge is:
To use something new and something old

Our Daily Bread Designs, Be Joyful, Special Girl

ODBD Stamps Used: Be JoyfulSpecial Girl
Dies: Spellbinders Labels One, Decorative Labels One, Classic Circles, Scalloped Circles, Fancy Labels 2
Accessories:  May Arts Blush Silk Ribbon, Pearls

My Old item is the Be Joyful stamp set and my new item is the Special Girl Stamp set.  The card is framed with the Spellbinders Labels one and Spellbinders Decorative Labels One.  The sentiment is framed with layers of scalloped and classic circles from Spellbinders as well as Fancy Labels 2.  The ribbon is May Art Blush Silk Ribbon.  I created the background by stamping the flowers from the Be Joyful stamp set multiple times in Memento Green Ink and Lightly coloring in the blossoms with pink copics.

Here are the photos of the two sets used:

For more inspiration for this challenge, please visit my dt sisters:

To see all the creations in one place or join the challenge, click here.  You have until January 13th to join us.    You do not have to use an ODBD stamp to join in, but we would love to see them if you have them.  Plus....your card will only be featured in the top 3 if you use ODBD stamps.  Anyone, however, has a chance to win the $15 certificate toward ODBD stamps.
We would love to see your creations.

I hope this creation, has somehow inspired you.

Thanks for stopping by!! I treasure all my viewers/blogging friends and their comments.

Have a blessed Day!!!

How pretty, and totally girlie with all the pinks and pearls and soft green. The Decorative Label frames it beautifully - and as you probably know, I love DIY papers so I think your Be Joyful background is just perfect.

Wow Chris - I love all the girlie beauty in this design!! Your background is beyond gorgeous - at first I thought it was DP but after a closer look I knew it was hand stamped/colored - and your silk bow is A MAZING!! You are an inspiration and a blessing - thank you!
